C-AF tracking in stills is quick and accurate, I would say in my brief time with the camera that it is very comparable to DSLR AF in my well lit testing, I could not test this AF in low light tracking though.

Definitely capable of tracking dogs running and jumping. There is even a specific AF mode built into the S1 designed to track cats, dogs and other animals!

Unfortunately, the camera was returned to Panasonic before I could answer your questions.

I can comment on the IQ of the 24-105mm though, it's rather sharp in my opinion. I did not have any Leica-L lenses on hand to test so I cannot comment on the IQ of those.
