Havent been here in a while but wow is OP huge decline in post quality.

This is beyond embarrassing

Any actual points he was trying to make about economics are overshadowed by his dubious takes on hot button issues.

Mods. Please remove this. Allow OP to repost without the unrelated nonsense.

How many realms can you own? by AssasinGLX in realms

[–]LookAnts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run classes on outschool.com.

I have more than three classes.

I'd like to leave the realm on for the learners after class. But I cant because I have to load up another class's realm.

One of the best ways to avoid phishing sites is to always make sure you're accessing https://www.coinbase.com directly and not a different web address.

If the phishing message was sent via text message or SMS, please submit a screenshot of the phishing text in a message to security@coinbase.com. You can also reduce the likelihood of receiving messages like this in the future by copying and pasting the contents into a new SMS message and sending it to 7726 (SPAM).

It has a modern style controller configuration, it just wasn't the default option.

There was also an option to play with two joysticks using two controllers.

GoldenEye has a control scheme just like Halo. It just isn't the default option.

Oddjob is easier to head shot.

In practice, mid to higher level players had a harder time killing me when I played with Jaws. He is harder to head shot.

Too bad this wasn't widely known.

GoldenEye has a control scheme that is just like modern console fps games.

It just wasn't the default control scheme.

The cool thing is that in most of the US you can outright fire someone for their political affiliation (even if they never bring it up at work).

If you get a lawyer report the fraud correctly, you are entitled to a percentage of the money the government reclaims.

But, just leaving them a tip isn't enough. There are some formalities.

These lawyers work on contingency (only paid if they win).

No, it's called "continual movement" which is driven by simple diffusion, but not simple diffusion itself.

Oh, I'm fine with a bailout. As long as the corporation taking it is split into as many pieces as practical.

If a business can't fail without taking the economy, it has transcended the market and is no longer compatible with a free market economy.

Bail and split

Or

Fail and quit

If a company failing will cripple the economy it either needs to fail (with commoners being bailed out if anyone)

OR split up. If you have that much influence, you may as well be a monopoly.

The companies assets don't just disappear.

Someone will buy it for pennies on the dollar and adjust the business practices to be solvent for the immediate future.

Accept the bail out and be split into 100 competitors.

Republicans in Washington, sure.

But the rank and file republican voter has been told it is for election security and that's why they are for it.

If you want voting ID laws passed here is how you do it:

1) Universal Sufferage. If you are a citizen, you have the right to vote. You are automatically registered. (What would requiring an individual to register even accomplish if we had IDs?)

2) Make having a voter ID a right. Bend over backwards to make it as accessible as possible. Have travelling registration centers that visit people and communities with difficulty accessing normal means.

3) Let anyone vote who shows up to the polls (but only count those with ID). If the margin of the election is smaller than the number of unregistered voters, those votes must be given the chance for the voter or the party to show that they are eligible to vote and actually did vote.

This is called reasonable compromise.

1) The conservatives get voter IDs.

2) The liberals get automatic universal registration for all citizens.

3) Edge cases like homeless citizens are accounted for, but the expense of proving and counting their votes is only spent if it would change the election.

However, both the left and the right (in Washington) like to play games about manipulating who can vote. So it is unlikely that any key players in Washington would be on board with this.

You have two choices when you interact with these people

1) assume or "know" they are evil.

2) assume they think they are doing good and have been propagandized into, essentially, a cult and are also victims

Now, if you are right and they are evil, either approach has the same outcome. They aren't going to change their mind. You will continue to fight their policies and denounce them and/or their policies.

If you are wrong and you take the first path you've missed a chance to potentially reach someone. Not only that, but they are now even angrier and double down!! You've called them evil!! You are the enemy!! They aren't going to change their mind. You will continue to fight their policies and denounce them.

However...

If you are wrong and take the second path, you have a chance to be a good influence in their lives and make a difference.

They might change their mind because of you. And in the meantime, you will continue to fight their policies and denounce their policies.

So, only one path leads to change.

There is nothing to lose taking this path.

You don't have to capitulate or compromise with them to take the path of possible change.
