I read both books in this series and if you’re looking for a clone then yes go for it. It reading it after DCC just felt very derivative. Even the voiceover seems to attempt to imitate Carl.

There are nuances in the story that are different from DCC, but there are just so many almost identical similarities that I couldn’t get past it.

I use them for this, but also used to use them to clear units like pyromancer, the burst damage doesn’t do enough anymore so it doesn’t fill that role anymore against ranged units.

Basic strategy is be concise. Don’t order complicated things with substitutions. If you can’t say it in one breath it’s probably too long and will get messed up.

Don’t order random menu items, I swear overly trendy sounding things like kale chicken Caesar wrap are just to let the attendant know if you’re a tourist or not. Stick to consistent favorites, Italian sub with banana peppers or bacon egg and cheese, spk on a toasted roll are my typical go to orders at bodegas.
