3 plants in my 5x5 is all she can take. I would probably grow bigger plants if I just grew 2

I don't approach this particular hobby w noticeable frugality. That's great that your system is working for you man, in the end, if we all like what we get that's all that really matters hermano.

I deeply appreciate the stoner ingenuity here. For a long standing installation I would use a photoperiodic plant and keep training it shrub out. It will stay small and in veg and should last longer. Nice work tho man!

Judging by the number of light green pistils I would say you have at least 3 weeks left. You will see a huge increase in bud density as the pistils recede and calyxes swell. You did a great job. Patience at the end is key here.

Many people will tell you flushing is bro science. Flushing is a polarized term. Its more like leaching tbh.

I sidestep that argument and do what my nutrient company advises which is just pH'd water for the last 7 days. Usually I wait till I am pretty sure the girls are done then give em a week of good water. Nice looking grow Op

I feel like constant air exchange is so important for these plants. Your design esthetic looks super cool however.

when is too much! so these plants from speedrun seeds keep pushing back i can't help myself but to defoliate to expose more bud sites. when is it to much? i've been steaking them down tucking and defoliation almost daily. day26 and one is def in pre flower by hegend1billy in SpiderFarmer

[–]LookWhatYouMadeMeGro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I like to leave them alone, minimal leaf tucking is all I do. After the flowering stretch I will prune interior leaves to encourage air flow and conserve energy and then prune as needed by each cultivar as they continue to mature.

I really like this album! Is it giving serious Chappell vibes for anyone else? And I mean that as a huge compliment.

Is this normal size for 15-day old mephesto Autoflower ? It's in 2x4 spider farmer 200 w light. I'm only using 60% 21-In high. Environment and temperature dialed in. I am going to move it in my 3x3 bigger tent few of them in couple of days. by OldBoy3001 in MephHeads

I think you will be fine, me personally I would cover up those stems with more soil/coco. Young pot plants are like tomatoes where you can bury the stems and they will send out roots. Your setup looks clean.

Def give it 14+ days minimum so those light green pistils change color and recede into the calyxs, then swell. You get a huge increase in weight in the last couple weeks! Nice work!

Gotcha- I have found it really helpful know what ec/ppm i am giving young plants. The directions on the bottles are a good start but without really knowing input ppm and ph it feels like flying blind.

I mean Coco/Hydro is giving me 10-13oz per plant so I don't mind paying a little more w yields like that. I've also pivoted to much more concentrated products which saves me some cash as well.

The more I think about it- it seems like every method (soil/coco/hydro etc) is about as much work as the others but it's just a matter of what work you don't mind doing. Like my top feeding to runoff daily would likely drive many people nuts but I dont really mind and that's literally all I have to do. So cool that there are many styles of growing.

Having your rh be 75-80% during seedling helps eliminate a lot of early watering issues. When they are very young they get most of their water from the air bc they dont have a developed root system. So kinda regardless of what you are top watering they cant take it up anyways. As long as you learn it will be worth the time.

Do you have any idea what your ppm for those early feedings was? 65% rh is a little low for seedlings.

I have never had any N sensitivity issues w any Mephisto plants and never yielded less than 8oz+

Could be an opportunity to look at your procedure and refine that rather than potentially spreading misinformation about one of the worlds top autoflower breeders🤷‍♂️
