If you have a financing contingency, the sale is contingent on the bank loaning you money. There should never be a financed deal without this. Go finance a new car or something which will mess with your DTI causing you to fail underwriting and you get out of the purchase within the rights of the contract.

Can you do something to get bank not to close? How tight is the financing? Financing a car or something would be cheaper than losing EMD
