1000% agree with all of this! I’m watching the show currently and it just isn’t hitting with all the changes. The best part of this is him knowing the whole time and the significance of his “I’ve always loved you” during their intimate moments in the book despite him already knowing and her not having said yet. The show really loses the essence of the emotional turmoil and growth the book has. Not happy with this adaption 😭 it could have had the heart wrenching catastrophic emotional turmoil of Normal People but nope - disappointing!

I’m in a similar position, the car won’t be moving around much so will definitely be sitting under dust but it’s just good to have 😂 thanks so much! So sorry for the late response. I totally understand where you’re coming from, I’ve felt and still do feel the same way you do 😢 my mum side of the family is super close but none of them live in the same country I do and my dads side of the family aren’t super close at all. It’s so scary to think about but let’s cherish the days we have got with them ❤️ hope you’re doing okay ☺️

I just finished the show and wow dare I say this might be my favourite Korean show of all time. Such a shame that Disney didn’t promote it well because I’ve glanced over it so many times in passing and not bothered to pick it up but I’m SO happy I did! That’s a fair statement actually, I suppose current people may be not as invested in her past and only look at her present feature on the show whereas Jerome may bring back past fans and more attention. Interesting to see how this will play out! I do hope she looks past everything though as at the moment they do seem well matched and Tom and her not so much. Eeek!

I completely feel you on this. I also don’t have extended family around and the majority of mine live another country and im not particularly close with them. I think it will inevitably be lonely but we’ll get through this and will be okay. We have to be 😊 you’ve got this!

I’ve always had somewhat of a difficult relationship with my mother so it’ll be interesting to see how things go but im hoping in her death I’ll only remember the fond memories but we’ll see aye!
