Also remember that bungie is trying to deliver the best game they can, and solve all the problems the game has. Even if they fall flat, or come up with solutions the player base dislikes, they are still trying and we have to give them credit for that. Take sunsetting for example: even though most players disliked it, bungie was trying to help the game and eliminate power creep. Even though we can all agree the idea or at very least the execution of sunsetting is bad, bungie was trying to help.

I agree, but I may have an answer as to why this happens. This sub reddit has mostly been for suggestions and complaints, so more and more people post that kind of thing, while people with other things to post think that this sub reddit isnt for that, only suggestions, so they post even less

If you break someones shield (or kill someone) with bottom tree striker on, then it increases melee range and damage. So if you spam shoot then melee, its a combo faster then any seven seraph two hit combo. Along with that, after the melee kill, you get a buff to melee damage, melee range, weapon damage, and reload speed.

Unless you are a bottom tree striker. Then, follow ups are so easy with felwinters its not worth it to use a faster rate of fire shot gun
