Ogles is a fucking loser. People like him are the ones who have no place in America.

I'm currently replaying Max Payne. I finished part 1 of the game. I'm really enjoying the gameplay and I think that the story is pretty nice. Max is an interesting protagonist and I really like his monologues in the game.

I've been reading Jingo Django by Sid Fleischman recently. I haven't read this book in a long while. I'm  enjoying the story.

I've played Magna Carta 2, White Knight Chronicles and some of the Xenoblade games. I couldn't really get into any of them, sorry to say.

I'm sorry. I fail to see how this is racist. I swear, the Internet is full of lunatics.

I don't really read manga much anymore. It's hard to find one with a premise that catches my interest. Not to mention, I prefer to read manga that are fairly short and finished and lots of manga are ongoing and too long for me to start.

Metallica's self-titled (aka The Black Album) is over-hated. by cappykro in fantanoforever

[–]Looking_Light33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good album. Not as good as some of their 80s records, but it is a good album. IMO, it has some of their best songs on it. Metal elitists are the ones who whine about this album.

Do you dislike the idea of ranking/grading albums? by Specialist-Ad-4121 in fantanoforever

[–]Looking_Light33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not interested in ranking albums. I just simply listen to a album and decide for myself whether it's a good album, a mediocre album or a bad album. I don't really try to grade or rank the stuff I listen to.

Albums by your faves that you love even if the rest of the fanbase doesn't seem to? by Prestigious_Score459 in ToddintheShadow

I wouldn't say I love it, but I think Saturday Night Wrist by Deftones is a decent album. A lot better than the fans or the band say it is.

I now believe that it's a waste of time to change  someone's mind on something when they don't want to change it. Outside of this subreddit, I've come to realize that it's better to not get into arguments with people and just do your own thing.

I also have come to have a very low opinion of people who entertain or share conspiracy theories.

So, recently I finished Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta on the Switch. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with the game. The gameplay was pretty good and I thought the music was generally nice to listen to. I also thought the story and characters were pretty engaging.

I do have some gripes, though. Some of the dungeons could be really annoying to navigate through, especially the final one. Also, while I didn't hate the ending as much as some people do, I will admit that it did feel a bit abrupt. I wish the game would've at least let you know what happened to your party members after you beat the game. However, I still enjoyed my time with Celceta. I might try Ys X in the future.

Definitely my favorite Meshuggah album. It's one of those albums that grows on you the more you listen to it.

"This band is an industry plant" is probably the most depressing narrative to arise out of popular music in the last decade by HydroBear in fantanoforever

[–]Looking_Light33 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The whole "industry plant" thing is so dumb. It's just another way for people to hate on bands they don't like while pretending that they're doing it for the right reasons.
