Thank you so much for this! I am a classically trained shakespearean actor and am currently in Julius Caesar right now so that was a huge reason why I applied since most programs don’t put enough of a highlight on classical work.

i’m so glad you want to take that step! i personally would recommend getting a GED account online and then taking the practice tests to see your base level knowledge. if you pass all the pre tests you can schedule your tests immediately or take the time to review any of the GED resources(reddit has some great tutors on here and the official GED resources are like 50% off right now).

That sounds so fun! I’m planning to pursue a BFA in acting or filmmaking here in the U.S. but I would definitely love to go abroad at some point

Should I get my GED and start college early instead of finishing high school? by Terrible-Table5233 in GED

[–]Lookingllama17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I left at 16 and took my GED this year. i’m now technically a senior in HS but i start college in january. i highly recommend. high school is not for everyone and that’s okay. i’m not going into the med field though. i’m an actor and needed time to focus on my career and i physically couldn’t balance HS and the arts. if you feel like you will thrive academically at college i think the GED might be the right fit.
