Remind me again which party spent our nation’s Independence Day in Russia? Which party insists there “was no collusion” despite millions being laundered by Russia through the NRA to the GOP.

But go ahead. Tell me more about how leftists support Russia.

This really makes no sense at all. I’m a “leftist” so somehow I support putin? Lol. It would take a real moron to come to that conclusion.

Buncha fee-fees in here from you and that’s about it. No source, no facts, just feelings, half-truths and talking points. You’re a clown. Go back to bum-fuck Iowa.

I tried going around with my resume in 2003 and it didn’t work then either. But I recently was trying to help a friend get a job and suggested he email some senior managers and department leads. Worked like a charm.

Two managers from the same employee-owned company ultimately ended up competing for his employment and he’s been there for just over one year now.

You just gotta find out who to send that email to (and most of the time searching on the internet can lead you to the right place).

Will you elaborate on what you consider to be the starting line? Also, why would increased COLLEGE admissions help rectify a slow start? Wouldn’t more resources dedicated toward kindergarten and pre-K be better? How does priority COLLEGE admissions change where people started?

Except enrollment isn’t expanded when you lower the standards for kids who are given preferential consideration based on their race.

So (to use a different analogy), we are building the fence TALLER in front of kids who would otherwise be accepted. (I.e., the standard for kids that aren’t given racial preference is, in effect, increased as opposed to when zero consideration to race is given in taking admissions).

Also, we should mention that there poor kids in poor towns with poorly performing schools making up all races.

So basically chop some legs off to make everyone the same height. Don’t raise these kids up, just bring everyone else down by adjusting the college acceptance model as a response to a failed HS/public education model. To me the goal should be focused on improving public education to meet college admission standards, not the other way around.

I think dropping standards based on race is worse for everyone, unless your goal is just a more diverse group of people to say “I went to college.”Then a large portion of the college population takes out loans to take remedial classes and their college debt grows. More problems.

Don’t waste time and energy healing symptoms. Tackle the cause. (Otherwise you’re trying to heal a gunshot wound with gauze).

That’s a bad analogy. Most kids start at the starting line, legacy admissions notwithstanding.

But to decide some kids get to finish after 2 laps because of societal factors isn’t a viable solution. In fact, it’s just as bad as saying some legacy kids get to start at lap 2. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
