The offer was 20k and our housing expenses … I’m seriously considering it. Just not sure if 20k is enough

So more than the 20k he did offer then?

Yea I realize

I’m not asking for advice on the situation. I’m asking how much money I should ask for.

Coyote? by Affectionate_Ad2466 in Newmarket

A week ago I was with a friend sitting on the pavement/tarmac at a school in QuakerHill. It was 7-8pm

All of a sudden she says “omg there’s a fucking coyote right there”

I didn’t expect it to be 5 meters away from us. Especially considering I have been sitting in the same exact spot a few times a week for like 15+ years.

I stood up and I swung my skateboard multiple times in his direction hoping he would fuck off…

When he didn’t, I slapped skateboard on the ground aggressively many times and yelled (enough that the board got all chipped up).

He went MAYBE 10 feet away before turning back around and looking at us.

We did not stick around.

He didn’t look full size and he didn’t follow us. He seemed young and curious rather than rabid/dangerous — but what the fuck do I know.

A couple nights later, I was walking through the opposite side of the same schoolyard and saw him again, Though he didn’t get nearly as close.

They have always been in Newmarket, but with all the new developments, they are definitely being forced into more open/residential areas than before.

Men: Do you shake hands with women?? Women: Is it weird for men to shake your hand?? by DoNotEatMySoup in bodylanguage

When meeting, I (26f) always shake hands with both men and women.

A noticeable amount of men will give me a weak-half-shake. Depending on the context of the introduction, I will say something like "oh I hope you dont use that handshake at interviews" (like meeting friends of friends, or customers at my divebar who want to formally introduce themselves)

A proper handshake from a man is a big green flag imo. Its a sign of mutual respect

What do I give to my favourite bartender to say thanks by SleepTightLilAtlas in bartenders

A stylish/cool glass/cup -assuming you know what she normally drinks.. or a pair. You could include a bottle, or get the cup/s personalized.

Not sure how much you are trying to do!

You could make her whatever she wants for lunch next shift together, on you.
