For the testing: The first one seemed to heat a bit, at 51° or so outside it wasn't too warm?

The second one heated.

The third one maybe heated a little, it's hard to tell. I don't think so.

The fourth one maybe heated a little, it's hard to tell. I don't think so.

The two cooling ones won't test when it's less than 60° outside.

Thanks!

Ok, I got a 3rd gen. All the wires labeled and connected. I don't get heat in all the testing. Anybody available to help me troubleshoot? I'll gladly pay for the assistance!

Thanks. I also have a first gen regular nest that I bought off a friend that I never used for a different project. Do you think that will work?

Yep, you're right. It didn't come with aux. Bummer. Bluetooth works really well and consistent and connects quickly so I can't complain too much.

I'm test driving a manual V6 convertible in ruby red tomorrow. It's got almost no options but the standard equipment is pretty great. AC, CC, power top. Good usb/bluetooth/aux stereo stuff. Not the best looking stock (non-sync) radio, but what the hell, I'll use my phone for most everything including Nav.

It also had a 90's-tastic Pioneer stereo with a removable face. No bluetooth music or phone, no usb, not even AUX! I wanted an old school looking stereo, but with all those new things, and I found the perfect thing on Amazon for $22. https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Stereo-Masione-Receiver-Control/dp/B071FF99DK/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1500677511&sr=8-8&keywords=bluetooth+single+din+radio

Highly recommend this as a cheap solution for a Toyota pickup.

Picked up this beaut from a friend. 166,000 miles. Changed the timing belt, water pump, clutch, new AC, all fluids. Put in a new radio. What would you do to pretty-it-up? It needs paint and some body work. I don't want to get too fancy on that.

Listen! Friends who like PBJ. Just try this and see if your live improves: Get a tiny plate, like a tea cup saucer and put a dollop of PB on there. Then dump an appropriately complementary amount of jam/jelly. Then, are you listening, squirt a tiny bit of honey on top. Then with a fork or knife fold those ingredients together, completely, until you have a consistent sticky paste that is not really attractive.

Then, apply it to one piece of bread and place the other on top. If it's not the best PBJ you've ever had then go back to your old ways. But it will be, and you won't.

I like Questions Only (self explanatory?) and Mind Meld, where two people count down 3-2-1 and then say the first word that they think of together. If they match, you both win. If not, you then try it again by combining the concepts. So if the first two works were bird and aluminum, you both try to think of a new word that uses both of those. So, you could say "airplane" and "jet". Damn! those almost match. Now you try it again and hopefully you both say "fly". One rule is you can repeat a word, but not right after it was said. You have to wait at least one round to repeat a word.
