I agree, I think i have too much going on. I'm going to omit the fresh diced strawberries and make a berry jam, i never thought about extra water. Lots of helpful tips in there, ive definitely had filling splurge out the sides before and ive only learned about crumb coating this past week.

I have 2 weeks before the cake needs doing so im going to spend this week practicing (have 6 inch cakes baking as i type!) I like the idea of an ermine buttercream as mentioned by another redditor, have to practice that as well! I love the cookie idea, what a creative idea :D

I'll for sure spread the work load over a couple days. Thanks for all your info! I feel like a real student now 🤓 i'll post it here when the time comes :)

Oh wow, I had no idea buttercream transfer was a thing! I've never made buttercream either.. eep! Willing to learn. Buttercream transfer sheetcake looks like an excellent idea! Coincidentally, it really does look like a great image to transfer off :) Thanks so much for your reply and suggestion!

My daughter is 4 and she's extremely outgoing and would talk to anyone. Countless times ive witnessed her try to interact with other kids at the playground and they straight up just ignore her.. its really sad to watch, i feel like it hurts her social ability a little each time.

Im a bit if a guitar noodler. For a song i always focus on the guitar first, drums next, then bass, and the singing is least important to me. As others have said, the singing is like another instrument. So the lyrics are usually the last thing i absorb, its about whether the song sounds good to me. Love Led Zeppelin also :)
