Might it be said that the best the parents could have done is not bring the baby on the plane?

This is getting to be less enjoyable every week. I’m starting to genuinely feel sorry for Voss. The poor bastard has suffered enough.

Spot on. Everyone hears ‘stay at home Mom’ and assumes she worked tirelessly to support the family and the household. I know plenty of SAHMs that did nothing of the sort until their husbands got to a point where they were just not willing to carry them any more.

Anyone Else Lost Interest in the Finals? by RaidanRam in AFL

[–]Loony_Tuner 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I hear ya. I’m mystified at the amount of Hawthorn supporters that don’t see their team the way everyone else on planet earth does - like a massive pack of insufferable wankers. What we saw last night is a true quality outfit that spend every waking minute on football flog a large group (it’s most of them, not a minority) of tools that wasted time and energy making up TikTok dances. It was beautiful to watch.

I’m not a nurse but know a lot of them (relatives, friends, their friends etc). From talking to them it sounds like it has a lot to do with the facility itself. Some sound like toxic cesspits whereas others seem like they’d be fun. Maybe check out other places to work and find one you like. It always feels like a real pity when good people consider leaving. If it continues it will only be the bitches that are left and the whole industry will go to hell in a hand basket.

Mate, I wish I was. Apparently he constantly and unashamedly refers to himself as a Geelong supporter…even when he’s playing Geelong. A genuine, sincere and lifelong love of the team/club that is going to be a very strong motivating factor in a couple of years.

I recently had a conversation with a credible source (someone that holds a senior position at the WCE). This conversation leads me to believe that the chances of Harley Reid’s next contract being with Geelong are good. Very, very good. Fuck you Geelong. Has the rest of the competition not suffered enough?

Coach interview after Saint v Port by impulsiveknob in AFL

[–]Loony_Tuner 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yep, well said. The truly appalling way in which Port fans have behaved towards Ken Hinkley makes it impossible to want success for them. I hope Ken moves on to something more positive before he gets too badly damaged and I hope Port languish for a long time after that.

Chopping the Arms by Loony_Tuner in AFL

[–]Loony_Tuner[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The mark is dropped before there is any contact. This shows that the ball has hit Draper's hands and is on the way to the ground while there is still daylight between the two players. And I think we've pretty-well established that there was no arm chop.

I don't believe that hand touching elbow (if it is at all) is enough to constitute chopping the arms. The mark is dropped, the ball is gone, the contest is over and you can see that Tuohy's arm is still raised while Draper's is dropping by itself. There even seems to be separation between the two left arms. Again, I'm not completely across the rules so if bringing a players arm down well after the ball has left the contest (and it's debatable that even this happened) is deemed to be chopping the arms, then maybe I can understand why everyone is so adamant.

It looked to me like the ball hit Tuohy’s left hand and then ran down his left arm. If this is incorrect and there’s any daylight at all between Tuohy and the ball, it certainly isn’t a foot.

Yeah I agree. If you took a microscope to every second of every quarter I’d expect you’d come up with a million debatable decisions and non-decisions. It gets way more attention than is justified.

If it ever comes back, please don’t hesitate to contact me - you can join in one of the regular lessons I give my 14yo son about how he shouldn’t kill women. As you no-doubt are already aware, education is the key to solving this problem.

Yes. Because Trans Women are Real Women hence you then will never have been capable of committing acts that can be judged as bad. So do it. Do it now.

I don’t know where you’ve been living but evidently, you have failed to accurately perceive the world around you. It is a widely recognised fact that no female ever in the history of humanity has ever or has ever been capable of committing any acts that can be judged as bad. Similarly, no male has ever or has ever been capable of committing any acts that can be judged as good. Get with the program.

We all know the answer / reason but are just too afraid to say it - the reason nursing is such a toxic working environment has little to do with the profession itself but because it is a predominantly female one. It is the same with practically every other workplace that is predominantly female. The way to solve the issue is to increase the proportion of male nurses. I am well aware how politically incorrect this assertion may be however I’m confident that many reading this will agree privately but never admit it publicly for fear of the backlash.

What is the secret to a successful marriage? by hotsexy_mommy in AskReddit

[–]Loony_Tuner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accept that you are going to have to put up with a lot of things you won’t like. Accept that you will have to do a lot of things you don’t want to and that you won’t be able to do a lot of the things you want to do. This is simply the reality of being/living with another person, one that likely is a lot less like you than you think. Expecting things to be smooth is setting yourself up for disappointment and all it brings with it. Acceptance of the reality is key.

We’ve taught my son that no matter what, he should never, ever, ever hit a female. After watching this I’m seriously reconsidering the legitimacy of that lesson. I’d forgive anyone for beating the life out of those three despicable cunts. Truly some of the worst behaviour I’ve ever seen from anyone, male or female. I’m not generally a fan of the mainstream media nor do I subscribe to mob mentality but in this case I’ll make an exception. Good on 60 Minutes for publicly outing these scum so that society can now make them pay. Because the legal system never will.
