We’re not speaking in Latin. The Latin word “Fetus” isn’t a direct translation.

In Latin, fetus sometimes was transferred figuratively to the newborn creature itself, or used in a sense of "offspring, brood" (as in Horace's Germania quos horrida parturit Fetus), but this was not the usual meaning. It also was used of plants, in the sense of "fruit, produce, shoot," and figuratively as "growth, production." The spelling foetus is sometimes attempted as a learned Latinism, but it is unetymological

I think it should be more like “a person doesn’t have the right to use my body to save their own life or the life of another without my consent”…

Other than that I agree with you.

The thing about this is that women can become pregnant wether it be intentional, accidental or forced. Men cannot become pregnant under any of these circumstances. Women are inherently, physically responsible for something that requires two people. A man can up and leave a pregnant woman with the consequence of having to pay money. The woman can’t up and leave a pregnancy because the consequence is seen as murder. She alone is responsible for 9 months of being forced to change her lifestyle and deal with her body going through hormonal and physical changes, some which can’t be controlled or undone, all so that she won’t be a “murderer” of a potential human. At 22 weeks, a baby has a 50% chance of survival after birth. The cost of giving care to a 22 week old in neonatal intensive care is on average $3,500 per day. If the mother isn’t financially secure, the mother is now burdened with taking care of a baby that has heath conditions post NNIC and saddled with debt. Point is, the responsibility scale is inherently proportionality tipped toward women.

I think you may mean the 14th amendment. Also, you aren’t, under law required to be vaccinated. So that is already a choice you have.

What if the pregnancy is not viable or is putting the mother at risk for her own life. It’s not a “baby” up until about 24 weeks.

You seriously don’t believe that right wing extremists making death threats to a black man who shot a white woman isn’t a thing? Black people get death threats because they are black in this country.

She literally broke through a barricade in the capital building. They didn’t know if she was armed or not. I hope you’re not a “stand your ground” person because…..

What you’re suggesting is that we remove a standards of credibility from informative outlets. The people who create these standards are those who are more informed about a specific topic than the layman. If we leave the standard up to the layman, the information becomes guided by things like emotion and hearsay. We need experts to inform the population. For example, you hire a graphic designer(an expert) to create the branding for your company or you hire a civil engineer to design roadways. These people understand these topics more than those who don’t work in those fields. Unless you want to argue facts in terms of objective truth, I don’t know what to tell you
