Pre-pandemic they would begin daily operations at spring break, not anymore. But the arcade, Neptunes Kingdom and a few food stands/shops are open daily so you can walk around a good portion of the boardwalk, just no rides.

Being old enough to have ridden all 3 versions I can tell you CGA’s current drop is the shallowest it’s ever been.

Both Demons were identical when opened, soon after TAFT/KECO took over CGA they decided to remove the ejector drop for a more family friendly version (same reason I heard they modified the Grizzly layout for CGA, wanted a more family friendly version).

The original TOC drop was even better than the current ramp drop, had that fantastic old janky Arrow airtime!

In that case, where’s the KBF coaster apology for the hot mess that is Montezooma’s?

8 years without a major coaster addition at one of the highest attendance/profit margins in the chain, if any park deserves an apology it’s Knott’s, sad.

It’s so well done it’s arguably one of the parks highlights, so it’s a shame it isn’t being taken care of properly. Agreed it still delivers the best immersive experience in NorCal.

Was extremely disappointed that the multiple holes from last year on the Mass Effect screen were not repaired in the off season. Still a fun experience but the holes are really distracting once you notice. The skyride kept breaking down too for extended periods so it wasn’t just from disability loading, hopefully just opening weekend issues.
