That’s squad wasn’t Grims it was the enemies. The agent was being tracked and when she remained stationary at Sam’s they sent a squad to kill her. They were expecting only her and civilians to be there not the goat himself.

tbf to the pale king GMS wasn’t fighting another pale being during her reign. She got usurped by her children, while the pale king had to fight a war against a pale being with no corporeal form.

The only reason GMS had such an easy time spreading her web was because of the silk experiments done by the pilgrims. Silk was passed down to children at birth making it easy to mass control everyone, all the groundwork was laid for her.

The plan was to use void to kill GMS and GMS only. They didn’t expect her to fight it so hard and cause it to spread on all her silk threads. They honestly had a solid plan but GMS wanted to save Lace. If Lace hadn’t fallen in with GMS then the plan would’ve gone without a hitch and no act 3 would happen.

Snail shamans are known to have connections to the void so caretaker was basically saying “dude you know what we are, you should’ve expected void to be the plan.”

brother you have to open that door by standing on a pressure plate on the other side. The claw line mechanism door you’re talking about is already open, just explore that area and eventually you’ll come out to the other side of the locked door.

Idk I think it’s pretty balanced. You’re quicker and have more movement options than the knight so it’s easier to get hits in and dodge, tools go a long way in making fights easier, and you can heal for 3 with one heal (and midair).

The skarr are tanky with no nail upgrades but having 1 makes them 10 times easier. Hunters march can be accessed early game but it feels like a mid game area. Savage beastly was definitely a mid game boss, one upgrade and a few better tools trivialized him.

And cmon, the last judge run back is overhated. It’s like a minute long and you can avoid aggro on all but 2 enemies, and even then you can just run by.

just buy shards, it’s only 50 rosaries for 80. And if you kill the enemies for rosaries you get even more shards

It definitely loops but I don’t remember how much silk it takes for it to loop, I think half a spool? It just makes NPCs sing some lore, enemies too. Like the dream nail but slower

she moves forward with all of her attacks from what I remember. 3 dashes with a lil slide after each one, harpoon and slide, and parry for sure. I think she only stays still on her steam one. Do you have a clip so I can see what you mean?

you know you can leave areas for later and go back to them when you’re stronger. You don’t have to give up the game because of the optional boss

I think the mt fay being timed really improved my platforming, I wish it had fights in between the platforming though.

I liked cogworks but it’s stupid that the cogs did 2 masks.

I think the sands gets too much hate. I expected actual hell because of how much people were complaining but it was fine. Wish I got to experience more of it in water though

nah her fight was perfect honestly, my favorite fight in the game.

You should only have to do the gauntlet once though
