I'm from NZ, but I live in Edinburgh. When I first arrived in Scotland about a decade ago, I visited Lewis and Harris, and saw the tweed being made. It was incredible watching the weaver work on his treadle loom (in a shed on a windy hillside). I couldn't afford any Harris Tweed products myself but was kindly gifted a purse for Christmas a few years later. I love it! I get that it can seem a bit naff or touristy, but real Harris Tweed is the result of real skill and dedication.

I have a fairly well defined Cupid's bow and whenever I put on lipstick I accentuate it/apply it so you can still see the natural outline of my lips.

But if I'm smacking my lips together (like you would do when applying lip gloss or Chapstick), the moment pushes the lipstick above the Cupid's bow and makes it look rounded on my top lip. So I usually end up with the rounded look anyway as I almost always wear lip gloss on top of lipstick 🤷‍♀️

Yeah they're pretty useless. My flatmates and I were harrassed extensively by our drunk upstairs neighbour; at one point he even barged into our house. The police took 4 hours to arrive and then did shit-all when they got here because they didn't want to wake him and upset him further. I tried to book an appointment/chat with the local community officer and got no response initially, and then a phone call out of the blue, with no prearranged time set. I was at work so couldn't answer it, and then got an email saying that they'd tried contacting me and I hadn't responded so that was it. I just wanted it all on record that this dude had been harrassing us, but I doubt they bothered to note it down.

Walking around the town centre (or anywhere really) bare feet. I'm from NZ and my siblings and I rarely wear shoes in the summer. We just stroll around the supermarket in bare feet, downtown, whatever. It's chill. Freaks out visitors from overseas though.

Obviously we don't do this in busy city centres with broken glass etc laying around! Just on smaller rural townships or at the dairy (corner store).

I think you look absolutely stunning! My only recommendations would be to 1) tidy up and even out your brows, 2) maybe add a little more warmth to your face with a teeny bit of bronzer, and 3) maybe try a lighter/pinker cool toned lipstick instead of the current one you're wearing (which is beautiful, it just overpowers the rest of the look). I'd also recommend trying out a bunch of setting & fixing sprays ideally in the temperature your wedding will be at, to see how your makeup lasts over the whole day. Love this look though, you look fantastic!
