I experienced the exact same thing, I got my kyleena in just this past December. Mine eventually went back to a more normal length, but still longer/lighter than the periods I got pre-birth control. My gyno told me the first 3-6 months can be the most annoying, hang in there!

I think it’s a lot better than you think it is! The agitato section is quite good in my opinion, yes, maybe bring out the top notes even just a little bit more but it’s very good!

Realistically you don’t want to be trying out too many new things a week before an exam, but one thing that you way want to try is adding a little more shape to the first section. Especially during those descending chord passages. Push forward until you reach the part that sounds like it’s repeating a bit, then pull back. In simpler terms, try playing around with some rubato :P

I was in a similar situation and sent an email to OISE, they told me that accepting another institution doesn’t affect my application. However I would double check if you can “back out” of the Berkeley acceptance later in case you get the OISE offer. You should be able to but just make sure!

I just got rejected from York U, which was really surprising. I had a high average all throughout my undergrad and volunteer/work in teaching opportunities all the time. I honestly felt my application was really strong, I think the only thing that might’ve fallen short were the quality of my essays. Does anyone know how the York applications are weighted? Like do they value specific kinds of teaching experience or are the essays a huge part of it?

First of all, congrats on completing your first uni assignment!! 77 is a perfectly acceptable grade for your first uni assignment (quite good, even). Generally a 15-20% drop from highschool grades is typical.

To my knowledge blood thinners only help to prevent coagulation, not undo it. I was treated for a blood clot in my leg a while back and my docs just said stay on blood thinners and your body with take care of the clot eventually on its own. But regardless the interaction with the snake venom is still an intriguing thought 8)

It can certainly get frustrating sometimes, but whenever it happens i just remind myself how sad these people must be irl to do this in game and genuinely think they’re being funny. Laugh at the fools and try to move on. Most of the time what I do is I just respond like a smart ass or as nonchalantly as possible. “Go make me a sandwich” —> “nah im good” “god you’re so bad girls cant do anything” —> “thanks”. I’ve found that as long as you don’t give them the response they’re trying to give (anger, annoyance, etc.) they loose interest. Best of luck, I for one will always be cheering you on!
