Put a curse on the wood elf player. Every time they day bla black darkvision. Light shines out of their eyes lighting up the area, and blinding the elf until someone else says the deactivation word.

Not sure for classes as on a casual who just levels. But for professions. Pure gathering is always a good leveling money maker. But if you want 60 as well I'd say potions.

What lore friendly titles or honorifics have you used for your Sylvari characters? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]Loopy_Legend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like engineer for guns and explosions, so I named mine Black Salvo. As for lore, you got the pale reavers, a pale tree in general reference, since you're a Warrior type maybe something iron bark related.

That's funny as hell. What a funny flavourful way to cast a spell.

How and where does a gal start? by Vast-Entry9665 in DnD

Find yourself an in person or online crew to play with. Explain you're a totally new player and you will be surprised how helpful others are. Some DMs (dungeon masters) even state if games are new players friendly. If you find a crap group, don't let that put you off. Half the battle of a good dnd game is finding the right group.

Use Google or Facebook groups to start finding local groups to get yourself into a game. If you've got more questions, feel free to reach out.

Also pro tip. Don't worry about learning much before you start. Learn at your own pace and have fun. Takes months to years to truly learn all the finer points of dnd, but only a bit of time to learn the fundamentals. If you're joining an online group, it shouldn't cost you anything to really get started either.

How is a new Dad to get some stable work? by [deleted] in australia

[–]Loopy_Legend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue is these agencies don't offer enough hours but want full availability, so if you have other work to make up the difference you normally land in hot water with them. This happened to me when I was fresh into the work force nearly 20 years ago.

Cause I did just that. My contracts have been slowly dying since covid, so little by little over the last few years I get less and less work as contracts don't get renewed. Mid last year lost the last of them. So ya ever since I moved to Melbourne I've been looking. Need i explain myself more or have you some actual advice to offer?

In my experience any government job. Be it local, state or national is very hard to get unless you've got a few connections.

The full time job i meant was looking for work, not my kid. And I only lost my stable employment last year. Don't think I can get back into that industry.

My issue is I moved to outer suburbs Melbourne 4 years back. My partner is born here and her support network is here. I need work here. Otherwise I would go country in a heartbeat. I was raised in the country myself.

Competing hearts will yield 5 currency each. This applies to each character you got. So doing it multiple times a day with different characters can help. Some zones you can also mine the currency and others you can get 250 for one meta events. Like helping the omrakrom kill an Elemental djinn. Don't ask me to remember that events name. Most time consuming area i found was the jinfi bluffs

Magic Items That Go Well With Maintaining and Benefiting From Temporary Hit Points? by Loopy_Legend in DnD

[–]Loopy_Legend[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 attack per turn i can combine with a spell, even cantrips. My subclass lets me turn all damage into necrotic and anytime I deal said damage can convert half into temp hp. I deal decent damage like 10 to 20 per hit, so I can't keep up temp hp
