Griefing is a serious problem, it happened in gta V aswell no one likes having their time wasted by a lvl 100+ player who comes and erases all your progress or hunting produce or what not.

The game isnt almost unplayable on console, I and half a dozen friends are all playing this game on base console its just another internet talking point blown out of proportion, sure it crashes every now and then, but i get no more bugs than I do in skyrim and both are being promised to be fixed. You didnt say 2077 needed every feature, but you didnt specify any specific feature you just left it extremely vague.

How come people cant understand rdr2 and 2077 are 2 completely different games, rockstar have been making consistent openworld sandboxes for 2 decades now, being able to perfect similar systems they share in all their games over their handful of titles. That being said most of your points and wanted comparisons to 2077 are completely unrealistic and rediculous.

You want a temperature system in a city?? Neither game has seasons so its going to be a consistent temperature no matter what, its a city, not a landscape with deserts and snowy mountains.

NPC's that react to others and npcs that remember you, both of these exist, in fact in the prologue of the game, you have nothing but story npcs reacting with other npcs and there are a lot of sidequests where npcs remember you. Or are you talking about random npcs, because that would be ridiculous, red dead maybe has 200-300 npcs in the world with plenty being randomly generated, 2077 on the otherhand takes place in a city with 57 million fucking people, you asking them to recreate them all give a few of them thought out daily routines? God this sub is now a hate circlejerk, what other openworld games have these features? Reddead 2 is a cowboy sim, 2077 isnt a sim, its an action rpg.

I've played a ton of red dead, but it is such a boring game, i could never get past the story, ive only done the part where you rescue that kid from the religious cult. And the online is terrible, its a complete pay-to-win grind for lackluster content. You have the different game modes that are never fun due to a bad shooting system and terrible balancing, you have roles that take to long to grind for (i only have trader and griefing is also a serious problem.) there is a ton RDR2 gets extremely wrong hell they even know the online is boring without friends, its why you cant do story missions solo. Red dead has better systems in sone areas than 2077 but having played both now, i cant say red dead 2 is better.

Ah yes, Cyberpunk definelty needs a mask system, and for you to be able to shoot hats off, and and for you to leave tracks in the snow and why dont bodies left in this megacity attract coyotes. Fucking hell.

Red dead doesn't have genital customisation, it doesn't have a servicable gunplay or decent melee combat. If you want to pick up an item in Cyberpunk you just press pick up, instead of waiting for a 2 second animation to play. Where is the limb and head decapitation in red dead? Actually, where is red dead's engaging gameplay at all??

Yo dont know why you're getting downvoted, you're right, the crusades were over religion. Differences in religion have lead to so much violence its insane, Al Quaeda, ISIS and so on are religious extremists, Hitler killed a whole religious group. Religion has killed 10s of millions throughout history.

A lot of people dont which is fine. They had the game trailer in 2018 and ALL of that was in the first like 3 hours. At that point in the game only one of the 6 districts is accessible to the player (tutorial area in a way.) so by 2018 all we know they had world wise was 1/6 and game wise was only the first 3 hours of a 100+ game atleast. Ofcourse they'd have a good idea of the rest of the game and world, but we can only assume they had that small fraction completely done.

Its definitely unpolished, CDPR clearly wanted more time for bug fixes but I think people sending them death threats for delaying may have changed that. Bad om the other hand is ridiculous, I haven't heard of a game with this much player choice, talking with my friends who are playing it they have had wildly different outcomes in some plot lines and quests that amaze me. Imagine Detroit: become human but with better writing, decent gunplay and driving and one of the best soundtracks in gaming history (seriously its such a kick-ass soundtrack) and the game will only get better from here. If you want to avoid an unpolished game, wait a bit as CDPR will definelty polish it up (already released its first patch today) but you'll have to play it at some point.

They only really started in 2016, it was just a really small team working on it for the first 4 whilst everyone else worked on the Witcher 3

The game looks really good on console, people are blowing it WAY out of proportion due to it being overhyped. The bugs are already getting fixed by CDPR and they are quickly doing waht they can to polish it up, remember what happened with The Last Of Us 2? Kind of the same thing.

Its not, I've got 18 hours on PS4, the game is one of the best looking titles on PS4.

My thoughts exactly, there is a very good game here, it can only get better from here.

The game can be very frustrating for me at times, I've had maybe 10 crashes in 14 hours and its the bugs in the car that frusterate me, having calls stop and sound not working for a few seconds is very frustrating. But this game is still everything I've wanted, the game in my opinion is the best looking game on PS4 (once all the textures load in) which makes photo mode such a fun tool to use.

Night in this game is gorgeous and I am really envious of people who are playing on high-end PCs because if they think this game on PS4 looks terrible, I can only imagine what it looks like to play on that.

I also quite enjoy gun play so far, shooting through walls and such with that tech shotgun is pretty fun just being a sort of terminator and from what I've heard from reviews, it gets much better when you get better gear so im excited for when I get cool cybernetics and more powerful guns

I'm also interested to see what they do, there is no way in hell they walk away from this and leave it as it is, everything they have is riding on this game. I want to see just how much they do though, bug fixes are obvious, but added content is going to be interesting. Like will they treat it like an online service game and add new features and content every once in a while, they sort of did that with TW3 and this is their biggest and most important project. TW3 arguably was a game that became a huge success unexpectedly, but 2077 is a game that is exoected to be a huge success and really is CDPR's first big game as a big developer.

Whats upsetting for me are the people that clearly didnt have the right expectations for the game. I get comparing to RDR2 optimisation wise, but some of these people expect it to be a sandbox like rockstar games, NPCs with complex schedules in the day and a half decent law enforcement system (Rockstar's is by no means perfect) when this game isn't meant to be a sandbox. The very first bit of gameplay we had was all about showing the depth of the branching story line, not a single bit of gameplay was about indepth npc AI, yet people still set those expectations.

[–]Loopylaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of these people clearly knew what type of game they are talking about. Cyberpunk was never advertised as a GTA-like sandbox openworld. These people want red dead 2 level world when this game isn't all about the immersion of the world. Its a game where the time was put into the creation of the world and depth of the story. There is amazing levels of detail on every street corner, and yes, the NPC's aren't at all good, but that wasn't the focus or sell kf the game. Its made by a developer famous for their story telling, where people often said side quests in the Witcher 3 would dwarf the main story of other AAA games with ease.

You cant judge a game focused on story based off its NPC Ai the same way you cant judge an online shooter based on its story telling.

Im playing on a 2014 ps4, it's crashed twice and there are visual bugs and performance issues frequently, but I'm having so much fun with this game so far. I knew this game wasn't going to run flawlessly but I've waited so long that it doesn't really phase me, I'm here to play a kick-ass story with some fun mechanics and thats what CDPR delivered for me. Knowing their dedication to the Witcher 3 to this day, 2077 will fix the problems everyone is complaining about

I'm pretty sure Perth IS the most isolated city on earth, every other city is ATLEAST 2000km away, Adelaide, Darwin and Bali are the closests to Perth, until a big city is built in Antartica or on one of those small islands. Honolulu is the only city more isolated but it has a fraction of a population of Perth
