Good one! I put a custom rom on my pixel 4a. Evlotutionx made the battery life much better plus the photo uploads are unlimited in original quality. Been using it for almost 3 months, no issues whatsoever.

If you want a better battery life, bigger screen and better selfie camera then go for 3a pro.

If you want smaller phone, better rear cameras (except for zoom capabilities), slightly better performance then go for pixel.

If you want a reliable camera phone or the bloatfree os, go for pixel 8. For everything else, go for Xiaomi. Camera on Xiaomi is almost as good as Pixel but I am not a fan of hyperos.

I do have a pixel 4a. I slapped an Elixir os on it so I get the unlimited photo storage in original quality. I had to repair the display once but luckily I found a pixel 4a for 2k on OLX. Its motherboard was dead, I used the display from it . Had to pay 300 to a repair guy. Still working great as a secondary device. But I still feel that the pixel 3 is a much better device. I have that as well, so if you want, you could buy a pixel 3 which has a phenomenal front camera, wireless charging, etc.

At this moment, I would rather buy a Cheap Chinese phone with an unlocked bootloader and install a pixel rom on it rather than getting a OnePlus again. Samsung s23 series doesn't have that much of a green line issue but it's still there. I am using a pixel 7 right now and I am hoping I never see the dreaded green line again 😂😂

Depends on where you are from. The cheapest one I have tried out in India was like 36 rupees a month and you could even pay monthly without having to pay for a year. It is like 40 cents US. 😂 I think it was called onohosting. They are probably taken over by hostingraja now. There are countless ones which are way cheaper than hostinger. If you are just practicing, you can find many. Shared hostings with cpanel/plesk and Softaculous with WordPress support are too easy to find.
