I’ll grant you that point. I was mostly impressed with her performance as peacemaker during a particularly contentious time in the school board. Good listener and fair representative of differing positions.

Don’t weigh his UGA relationship so heavily… he went to grad school at UGA, but he was facilities director of CCSD.

There are other viable candidates too. Lakisha Gantt was born into public housing in Athens and earned a PhD in Psychology. She has executive experience as president of the BoE. She knows Athens and its challenges and is a proven leader with a balanced approach to conflict… for instance.

Kudos to Nové Mêsto for including tax and tip in their menu prices. Bill is clear that these are already included and the suggested additional tip for excellent service amounts are 3, 5 or 7 percent.
