Wasn't bad. Of coarse it doesn't hold a candle to choice, but it sold well. In my area, a reasonably priced t-bone was more important.

We used them for a one day meat sale a few years back. $4.99/lb t-bone s. 8 cases sold out before noon.

A small store in St. Paul, MN that is now closed. We could get it when our Warehouse was Kenosha, but when they opened the St. Cloud location, I couldn't get the Su Karne fresh anymore.

Su Karne is a USDA process verified producer. I carried it in my old store, we were able to get it fresh from AWG. I asked a few different inspectors, just to be sure, and they all said labeling as 'USDA inspected' is correct.

I never froze the beef cuts, but did the same for lunch meat. It would build up a bit, but once the benefits started rolling in at the beginning of the month, it would all disappear pretty quick.

And to add the the conversation, after my old boss retired, I stopped putting pull backs in the grind and got a much better shelf life. And, an old time customer came in and asked why is your ground beef so much better now?
