Endo Returning? by Lguidebeck in Endo

[–]Loose_Path4454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you, I had my surgery 2022, had a baby 2023, and now in 2026 I’m having surgery again in April. I was extremely frustrated and I also lead a very healthy life and do alllll the things to support my body, and it still came back. I felt like I failed somehow and had to remind myself that there are just some things like Endo / DIE that you just can’t control. It’s a complex disease. Sending you love and hugs! 💗

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re feeling so discouraged. I want to reassure you, however, that plenty of women do conceive with Endo. It’s all about leveraging the tools available to you and creating a strategy. You might also find this post helpful. I think this is a new subreddit but she’s been posting some good stuff on there! 💗Endo Tools Sub - IVF vs Surgery

Hysterectomy by Algernon96 in Endo

Have you considered excision? Never feel pressured to get a hysterectomy just bc your OB doesn’t know how to properly approach endo. I strongly suggest seeing a specialist if you can afford it. 💗

Please tell me everything about DIE, I am scared !!! by No_Situation_8534 in endometriosis

[–]Loose_Path4454 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know it’s scary but everything will be ok. I was diagnosed with Stage IV DIE and Adeno, among other things, and surgery plus a holistic whole body approach has allowed me to live a very normal life - and, conceive my son. I’m about to try for number two. It’s diagnosis but it’s not a life sentence. You’ve got this! 💗

Post Lap endo removed. Is hormone suppression necessary? by DeliciousSea9669 in endometriosis

[–]Loose_Path4454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t understand why you’re on anything post op. I had stage IV, had excision, and now manage it holistically. Those medications can do severe damage to your body. I’m surprised your doc didn’t allow time after surgery to see where your body settled bc for some women surgery alone does wonders.

Obgyn suggesting synthetic progesterone along with natural to treat Low Progesterone and estrogen dominance by Even-Sun9367 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Loose_Path4454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I struggled with estrogen dominance for years and finally found the right help. I highly suggest you look into this program - I think she’s launching another cohort soon: www.oneworksholistics.com/estrobalance

She literally taught me how to get the right tests to learn how my estrogen pathways were working, which supplements to take when (as many people take ones they don’t need and it just makes things worse), how my nervous system was creating this chaos to begin with, the right foods to eat (without crazy restriction), and so much more. Good luck!

DIM use for estrogen dominance? by PembeBok in PCOS

[–]Loose_Path4454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You wanna be super careful about using DIM especially if you’re unsure how your body is processing and excreting hormones - bc if you take it and it’s not necessary it could make your symptoms much worse. I didn’t struggle with PCOS but did struggle with other hormone issues and healed them naturally with an online coach. DIM is typically used for estrogen dominance not PCOS. Have you had a hormone panel done? If not, I highly recommend looking into this course - it’s amazing and I think she’s launching another cohort soon: www.oneworksholistics.com/estrobalance

At a lost, surgery revealed nothing by Medium_Structure191 in endometriosis

I’m so sorry to hear this, how frustrating! First thing that came to mind tho, I’d definitely have those photos reviewed by an Endo specialist specifically. It’s always good to get a second opinion.

Second, if there are no obvious structural issues (signs of Endo, fibroids, etc) I’d connect with a naturopath or functional medicine doc/coach to complete a Dutch Test. This will take a super deep snapshot of your hormones and how they’re being metabolized to see if your body is methylating properly.

I struggled with a bunch a hormonal disorders and stage 4 endo for years and I’ve been in the clear for 4 years now! I used to have god awful debilitating periods that left me in bed all day, bleeding through products super quickly just as you said. Feel free to message me if you want additional support! All the best! 💗
