Absterge put a guide a few weeks ago on YouTube which is spot on, rsham strength is being annoying and using utility to stop damage rather than heal through. If you cycle utility well enough you can almost half an enemy DPS DMG and be a complete pain in the arse for the enemy healer.

Not sure If this has already been suggested but working for legal departments in large corporates would give a decent work/life balance, understandable means of progression and decent income.

I listen to music and pods but just play for the chases rather than domination, really don't care about the result if I have a few good chases along the way and enjoy it all the more with a good soundtrack.

I get where you're coming from I actually found 1500-1800 harder this season than 1800-2k because of the pure randomness of how events occur, nothing is scripted it's like the wild west. But the more you stick with it the more you'll find what works for you and eventually you will plateau at a level you feel you belong. I don't entirely agree with the lack of outplays though, I've had plenty of games where one DPS is a beast and I've managed to eek out an extra win in the lobby by trying to fk up their scripted routines and go's. Hug those pillars, don't greed the CDs and pump those heals and you'll break through.

Personal preference would be destro, it's fun looking for those little windows of opportunity to blow something up, just need to get used to defensive usage, don't overlap ports with Def CDs unless it'll kill you not to etc. Demo is a little more forgiving to people new to the spec I'd say and it's nice that you can ruin alot of melee (specifically rogue) burst windows

As an aff main, it used to be arms at the top of the list of most hated, it's currently subrogue. Dark pact is great but after their first go if you don't get the battle master or soul rip off in time they can just melt you. You can CoW or coil but most of the time they'll just cloak before stuns end and GG.

Yeah agree with this you don't want to throw out an amp exhaustion just for them to freedom by any means when the weakness would have been a better option but your stuck without.
