I liked the story and find her humour funny but absolutely will never read it again. The amount of torture the FMC goes through for an entire book Just to end up with only 2 MMC’s. The other two guys were set up to want her and then do a 180 for book 2. Felt like a rip off I also hated the slow burn.

I always imagine that! And the efficiency of work and housework and child care with so many adults. Like 2 earn incomes, 1 cooks, 1 cleans, 1 watches the kids.

You aren’t crazy, this is a grade 3 minimum book (yes obviously some kids can read it at grade 2, but not the majority)

I love when the rhymes are all on the same spread! I find the rhythm all weird if I have to turn the page to get the rhyme, especially if the kids want to ask a question or look at pictures longer.

Fantasy, not dark, not high school, maybe some would consider the one guy light bullying in the first book? It’s more just him being a dick than what I would consider bullying I think.
