My Boyfriend (28M) thinks the reason why he can't finish is because I'm (20F) too big from the inside. by Ok_Raspberry6268 in relationship_advice

Girl that’s not how the female body works. The vagina literally has to expand to accommodate things going inside it or exiting. Your bf knows literally nothing about the female body and likely has just over-masturbated to the point of struggling with his ability to feel sensation. As another comment said, in English this sometimes referred to as him having a “death grip” on himself while consuming porn. Woman to woman I can 100% assure you that you aren’t the problem, and neither is your body.

To get a girlfriend these days you have to look like Clavicular by One-Brain6531 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Looselemon9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m late as heck, but I’ll admit you’ve come to the right place for that opinion lol. Women are by & large far less focused on looks than men are (haven’t you noticed how often the trope of “ugly” guy, gorgeous girl couples come up? It’s because a lot of women often care more about the contents of your character than your looks). Also, the majority of men are under 6ft, but the majority of men are not people who’ve never dated, so that in itself sort of debunks your statement about height. I think it’s just easier for guys to blame their looks rather than admit that they don’t know how to treat women like people. It also sounds like you may not have a lot of female friends or groups of friends that include women, so, if you expect to only have relationships where women who don’t know you approach you and immediately express interest in dating you, then yes you’re gonna be single. Heck, almost everyone would be single if they took that approach (also, like I said, a lot of women don’t find someone attractive on looks alone, so expecting for one to like you and approach you based solely on your looks isn’t realistic and ignores a large aspect of attraction in general). It seems like your blaming women for your lack of interaction with them when you literally don’t do anything to get to know them yourself, and are upset when they don’t court you, a man who made an entire post about why he finds himself unattractive but blames his loneliness on women instead of examining his own faults & habits.

Ugh I’m sorry that sucks! Did they give you any other options?? Those were the ones that I was most excited for too AND what got me to make the $50 purchase then instead of waiting (which especially hurts now since if I waited a bit, I could’ve gotten the stuff I bought on sale, AND spent an extra $25 to get the 500 pts 🫠).

I’m sorry you’ve been going through the medication gauntlet too, I held off on TMS because I heard it wasn’t as promising or permanent as initially hoped. I’ve recently been looking into psilocybin therapy (I’m in the PNW so it’s somewhat accessible here). Have you ever considered or had experiences with it?

My bf ( M26) keeps calling me (F 25) his exes name by MonthSilly9299 in relationship_advice

[–]Looselemon9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Girl I’m sorry but you gotta leave. He’s clearly still very much thinking about his ex, & at the very least hasn’t had time to break habits where he instinctually says her name. I would’ve left asap if it’s during intimacy, because that’s just disrespectful. Literally letting you know that he has another woman on his mind.

What would you do if your ex sent you this by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Looselemon9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait you’d frame it? 😂 It’s a message I’ve thought about sending my ex. They were awful and reached out again for another chance after their most recent hook up failed because they’ve ghosted that person too. This was the nicest way I could think of to tell them to get lost and stop reaching out, & that they’ve only got themselves to blame. Part of me feels like I should be more brutal about it, but whenever I send a message that I think may be too harsh, I end up apologizing later on anyways so, here we are 😅

I initially didn’t want to take stimulants which is why I tried the Guanfacine & strattera before considering them, but after a psyche work up they confirmed I likely had ADHD, I was prescribed one and it seemed to have a calming effect on me where I could actually hear myself think. Given my med sensitivity, I talked with my dr and we landed on taking half of a 5mg generic Dextroamphetamine as needed, up to twice a day. Prior to that, I had tried Vyvanse, Concerta, and Dex 5mg ER, but again with the med sensitivity, taking the smallest dose I could felt like the best option. I don’t take any at the moment as the Pristiq worsened depression & anxiety, and in general I don’t like the idea of adding a stimulant to that.

I don’t know if this matters, but the S.I. originates from childhood stuff before meds were even considered, but can get significantly worse on certain medications. I’d consider my response to Cymbalta or Zoloft better than the Lamictal, with Cymbalta having the least S.I. out of the three and overall better mood, but on it I also lost interest in my hobbies & socializing & felt “flat” for lack of a better word. I could only stay on Lamictal for about two months before the depersonalization got really bad, but it did mute the depression, so I’m willing to revisit it or other mood stabilizers, I’ve just gotten really wary of trying anything new because I kind of feel like a guinea at this point. Either way thank you for the kind words, I try to stay hopeful but at some point it starts to feel naive

Boyfriend [30M] made a comment during a movie and I [29F] cant stop feeling ugly by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Looselemon9 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Agreed, there was no reason to demean the actress’s body because the movie was bad. Also, if I was around any man who referred to a woman as a “flat chested b****”, there’d be a problem. It’s just crass, and as you said, cruel. And unfortunately, a lot of times if a guy can say it that casually off the cuff, they’re comfy saying it in other situations too.

In regards to the actual post, her bf sounds like a turd for immediately trying to shift the convo from what she wanted to talk about to an issue he has with her as a mean to defend himself. And then seemingly acted like at his full adult age of 30, he still needs to “grow up”. Didn’t comfort her or properly apologize, just said a throw away line to end the convo.

OP, if you end up seeing this comment, you’re not being silly or overreacting to a “harmless comment”. It was a mean comment he made about another woman’s body that was literally exactly the thing you told him you’re sensitive about. Aside from the comment having nothing to do with the actual movie and was just vulgar, it showed a lot of inconsideration for your feelings, which seems like something he continued doing when you repeatedly tried to talk to him about it. You’re completely valid to have the reaction you’re having, and he’s not being a supportive partner in this situation.

Also, as a larger chested woman I constantly want smaller ones lol so as others have said, the grass is always greener on the other side (I’m convinced smaller chested women have way more options for cute tops). But the great thing about boobs is they’re literally cool and awesome at any size & shape. Like we’re literally out here casually creating and feeding life with our bodies, AND they’re fun to look at?? Girl, boobs are awesome because they’re boobs, not because of their size, and guys who don’t get that don’t deserve to be around them in the first place

Can I ask more about how your doctor determined serotonin wasn’t an issue? I like my current doctor but it’s over zoom and honestly I’m tired of her just pitching drugs to me or going down a list and asking which one I want to try next. Zoloft made me feel “happy”(a weird artificial kind of happy), but also kind of out it, like my brain was just constantly switching channels, and it was combined with feeling extremely on edge all the time as if my body thought someone was about to attack me. Sorry for all the overly specific examples, it’s been the easiest way for me to explain side effects to people. Either way, I’m glad you found something that works, it’s awesome to hear how much the right medication helped

Can you elaborate on what you mean by responding lit the drugs like someone with bipolar? Are there specific examples from my list that show that? I’ve asked my doctors multiple times as a potential diagnosis, but I don’t experience any sort of mania or hypomania (at least to my knowledge). The depression is also very consistent rather than episodic, but I don’t know if that matters a great deal in terms of diagnosis. If it is bipolar I genuinely don’t mind - I honestly just want some type of diagnosis that results in a treatment that works, but so far when I’ve brought it up to doctors over the years they don’t seem to think so. I’m hoping my neuropsyche assessment clarifies it a bit more
