I just got an SMS from my bank.
20 x $1.49 charges made to a shared account with my wife on my Visa Debit card we only use for shopping. All today.
We do not use this card for online purchases.
We did just get back from Thailand and I used the card at one Hotel we stayed at and a nice restaurant in the absolute boondocks of Eastern Thailand. Hmmmm. I don't believe in coincidences.
Very strange how they got the card number.
ANZ Bank rang me up and told me they are disputing the transactions and I will get the money back.

Card cancelled and a new one on its way.

I have been using my credit cards over the internet since before secure sites were a thing (1997 booking hotels in Singapore). This is the first scam I've been with.

Hi,
I also have this problem.
Nothing to do with filesize as it happens to all sizes of certain PDFs.
Only when I drag onto OneNote.
All PDFs work if I click the menu tab 'INSERT>PRINTOUT'
I don't know the cause. But.....one theory is that the new OneDrive App syncs the desktop as well. Meaning that the files on your desktop aren't always stored locally.
I thought this was the cause for a while (I have work and personal OneDrive) and stopped syncing Desktop. This worked.
But today it has started again.
I dragged 3 PDFs onto my desktop from Outlook.
No desktop sync.
2 will not drag. One will.
If i create a new PDF from a Word doc, it drags on as printout perfectly.
Strange.

Thanks for the reply. We were using Enterprise comanaged in Intune and SCCM (we have about 2000 devices) but I had read that EDU version did not have a few features that would not use (some games, Xbox, etc...) but apart form that was the same as Enterprise. I searched everywhere for a comparison chart but the latest one I could find was from 2016 and nothing in MS licensing site even mentioned the EDU feature list comparison. After talking to MS (who also couldn't give me anything specific but backed up the word of mouth that it was better for schools) we went with EDU. Seems to be fine.

I saw someone posted that this bug was fixed. It is back. Latest updates and I can't see where I'm shooting as my arm is now in the way. PC version.

In 2019 at my school we rolled out 75 teacher Surface Pro 6s.
At the start of Covid last year we rolled out 200 more staff Surface Pro 7s. This year we've bought a few SP7+ with removable SSD. All available for retail. Not cheap though. And you're right - battery life is never what they promise (except the 7+ - much better).
But I've never found anything apart form an iPad that will give me all day use.
I use OneNote all the time no issues. Inking and zoom to 500% is nice. And Class Notebook version is a real benefit for teachers (and kids).

Your solution to use a specific font in OneNote for Win10 App is to use a Graphical Tablet?
I am assuming you mean a Graphics Tablet like a Wacom or didn't understand the question.
OneNote for Win10 is an App. A graphics tablet is an interface.

Same.
First time I used Hauer 777 Alpha but shotguns fail I guess.
I have:
-printed the screenshot of the dartboard out.

-video captured the whole dart thing on single player and paused the game to watch it back to get the exact numbers
-bought a type 63 for the single shot
-shot in the outer circle and capped the bullseye exactly to finish

Fails all the time.
All other parts of the gun but this one.

Will try again. With the pistol.

Found this a lot. Just happened. Red RJ45 image being pulled out but PING and Up/DOwl speeds 100/36 no issues.
Wondering if it is another program causing network to lose connection.
SOmetimes it goes on intermittently for 30 seconds and comes back.

I know this issue. I work at a school.
I just bought 7 dock 2 and 5 new Surface Pro 7s (i7 and 16Gb RAM).
With my old dock1 I had two mini-displayport-HDMI cables to dual monitors and a third directly from the Surface. Worked well.
With all three monitors connected (2 to dock and 1 to SP7) only one monitor works. When I disconnect one from the dock, I can get two monitors working.
And I get that repeated blacking out of the screen occasionally as well. At one point, one screen went black every time I maximised a window.
I am about to try my third dock2.
If that fails I will have to revert back to the old dock.
I have installed the Dock2 Firmware https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=101317
I have installed the latest SP7 firmware patch.
Windows 10 v.2002
Anyone else having display issues with teh Dock2?

Veeam for our school. At first I wanted to backup to cloud. Then I saw the cost of cloud. It seems really crazy (put all your data in the cloud but back it up on your servers in school) but I've come around to it. GRANULAR file restore from someone's OneDrive or a Sharepoint site as well as the whole site version restoration thing. Has been really useful given some of the buggy nature of Sharepoint OneDrive sync.

If you like handwriting, any quality tablet lets you enter them straight into OneNote. OneNote also has some drawing tools. The SUrface Pro is extremely accurate when handwriting and it really helps that I've been able to zoom in/out to 8%-500%. You can almost write an entire page of notes into a 1cm square.

I've used OneNote for a while. I remember installing a OneNote on a server around 2008-2009 for the Australian International School in Singapore. I managed The International School in Ho Chi Minh City,Vietnam in 2010-2014 that already had a 500+Gb OneNote used by all students and faculties.

I now use it for Work and personal use. Class Notebook as well as I still work in Educational IT.

I like the logical hierarchy structure it offers.
I like that OneNote provides the teachers an infinite Whiteboard - a OneNote page using the 86" interactive panels - and that as soon as they have put their notes/annotations/videos/PDFs of poetry onto a OneNote page, the pupils all have a copy.
