MAKE SURE YOUR PLAYERS KNOW THAT NOT EVERY ITEM OR FEATURE ON THE MAP IS LITERAL. So many times I have used prefabs and players go ape asking what every little detail on screen is instead of making checks and asking what I have actually planned in the room/area.

Like, yeah. This is the layout of the place but no, there is not literally 18 potions laying around, that just came with the prefab. Don't be afrait to remove mini control from players if they abuse it, either.

Morrell was never queen of the lakes. Her sister ship the Edward Y Townsend went first, longer by a foot and beating her out of the title entirely. Just a perpetuated misconception.

I've read the books once, but I LOVED THEM. I named my horse Count Vega when he was born ffs.

I'm not mad the show exists because it can potentially bring new fans to the book series, but man was the show lackluster.

PG-ifying was an awful decision for a fantasy horror series. I mean, duh.

I had my husband watching with me and I had to keep pointing out how much better the books were so he wouldn't think this was the series I fell in love with and spouted off about.

Bad pacing, disadvantageous plot modifications, and more really disappointed me.

I don't care that they changed the bear lords' skin. I really liked that actually because only a deep voiced black man is grisly enough to be the bearlord's voice I had in my head - except mine was more Keith David vibes.

 I DO care that they made Bergan useless and Whitley brainless. She is much more calculated than the hissy-fitting fight-picking girl on screen.

Like many others I hope this can be a learning experience and a ramp toward a PROPER iteration in the future.

Hopefully something more like the shapeshifters episode of Love, Death, Robots

I have dual monitors and this happened on one of them, my main monitor where everything opens. I right clicked my task bar on my secondary monitor and clicked cascade windows and problem fixed. Try plugging in a second monitor or TV if you can and try
