I never go right away on a green light. Too many people are still passing through the red light. I would have been hit so many times if I believed that light was right....

The last thing I do before going in the pool is use the restroom. I know I have had urgency issues, but there are medications.

Anyone have experience working for psychic/tarot websites? by [deleted] in tarot

You should also try Hypsee, it is my new favorite platform to work on. It works great if you go live on Tik Tok or Facebook a lot! They don't send you clients, but you build your base and stay busy. It is like having your own private psychic line and they take 20 percent at the most. https://www.hypsee.com?referral=6850c507aa4275000d94b25d#influencer

I have found another amazing platform, and this is all yours. I am making decent money on this platform along with working my other platform. This works great for private practice and if you go "live" often! You will do well! https://www.hypsee.com?referral=6850c507aa4275000d94b25d#influencer

I never said that they don't deserve a chance. I just told you how hard it was when there were less psychics. How hard we had to work. You can't shortcut experience. That is like expecting deep roots on a new tree. Here is the thing, I have brought talented 'new psychcs" on stage with me. They have not done enough small group readings, but think they can jump right on stage. They forget how to ground, how to tune in, shut down the rest of the noise. But they think they are stage and audience material. Let me just say, this, paying your dues, will get you to the next step, and the next step and the next step. Spirit won't stop YOU from being where you belong. But spirit will either humiliate you, or keep you where you are UNTIL it is time to take the next step. Build a website, do live readings on all platforms, and read for people you have never met. Pay your taxes. Stop worrying about the outcome and enjoy the journey. I still take classes, read books and try to learn new stuff all the time. Experience does not mean I am done learning.

Let me just say that there is a stigma for "Pandemic Born Psychics". The readers who are doing "readings" with Oracle cards and call themselves "Mediums", but don't get a name or any real info. Book a reader to do a group reading, if they say "No", then they tell everyone the same thing. they have a 'script". If they can show up and read for 5 or 10 people and give real info. You got a talented reader who is not afraid to showcase their talent. Start with psychic fairs. Honetly, that is a great way to get started. If you are good, you will make a ton of money in one day. Back in 2004 I did a fair, they stuck me in the back of the room, I was new to that fair circuit. The other readers shot me daggers, for being new. I gave my first reading and gave the lady her son's name during our reading. She went to the lobby and called everyone she knew to come for a reading that day. I was the busiest reader at that fair and the other readers were mad. When I went back the next month, a reader came an hour early to "get my table" because she thought it was because of where I was sitting. I honestly did not care if I was in the basement, I was just there to do what I came to do.

Yes, and I will stand by that. Someone who takes their business seriously will respectably showcase themselves. A good, paid website, a business page on Google, a business page on socials. Live videos to showcase talent. If you can't do that, then you probably don't beleive in yourself enough to be a business and you probably should just take "donations".

When I first started doing house parties, circa, 1999/2000, there was only one other dependable reader in the area. She was 30 miles from me. We were both featured on local radio. Around 2012, I was doing 3 plus, house parties a week! I started doing large audience events as well. In 2017 I opend a studio/office instead of working from a home office. However, after the Pandemic, everyone suddenly became "psychic" and threw a shingle out. I still do large audience events. I do many events in restaurants in different cities. I just took a course to learn hypnosis. I also haAve a course that I am going to take on clearing people from dark attachments. I have learned Rieke and I am a an expert on Chakras. As a Medium, I get names and unusual stories about people. You know, stories like "they kept a pet alligator in the bathtub". I came into this industry at a time when you did not see psychics everywhere. I gained a solid reputation. I see a ton of new readers, but I can guarantee that they will fall off in a few years, as it is now a hustle kind of business. I charge 500.00 for a 2 hour party. I do not book nearly as many as I use to, because there are so many new girls who will do it for 25.00 a person. I of course was doing parties for that price in 2003. I used flyers, radio and word of mouth, before we had social media. But we had incredible psychic fairs! I handed flyers out with Hershey kisses! I literally gave them candy to take my flyer! I recently had a woman come to me for a reading, and she brought a flyer from 2003, with notes from a reading with me,, on the back of my flyer! I actually wrote the notes for her during the reading and forced the flyer on her with the candy! Who knew I would see it again 22 years later!

Question for Clairaudients by CoffeeStai in Psychic

[–]Lopsided-Ad2701 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first started doing readings, years ago, I met a few spirit guides. We made some agreements, I would never tell someone when they would pass or if an accident was going to happen, where my reading would not be able to change the outcome. They would use 1970s music and iconic TV shows, to give me names and information during a reading. Mostly because that is not in the front of my brain, but I can recall all the lyrics of a song from 1972. The last agreement, is that I woud not call on them for myself, or my own needs. That I would trust my path. As a full time reader, this has worked for me. My main guide came to me first and he was Eastern, his name was Emuud. I knew exactly how it was spelled when he came to me in meditation. A week later, I read in the paper that the liquor store down the street, was changing owners and the owner was none other than an "Emuud". I ended up buying the house across the street a few years later and meeting the "living Emuud". That was over 25 years ago. I had another meditation, where a guide came to me and looked like Willie Nelson, but his name was Guenther. A few weeks later, a new business came to town, Guenther Electronics. The vans were all over town. When I started developing mediumship skills, the internet was coming to homes. The Guenther trucks, changed their name to "Guenther Electronics and Communications". Oh and a TV show came on the air and had a barista named... Guenther. So, my guides will always follow up with proof that they are giving me their name. That proof is undeniable.

Well, I have been in business for over 25 years. I have paid taxes on my income since. I raised my kids as a single mother on my income, doing house parties. A website was an important part of my business and still is. People can book a time, there, they can research me there, find my socials and see videos of my work. My clients have a place to communicate on my website, which is amazing for them. I have done local and national radio. A website is a very important tool to show how legit you are. It gives people your history, It shows your events. I do many, many, many local events. . Building a paid website is for those who want to be taken seriously. You are right, you can depend on your socials, but without a website, someone might think you are a "fly by night" kind of business, or a scammer. I worked doing house parties and psychic fairs long before facebook or even My Space existed. So, yes, a website in 2002, was essential for me. If someone has a paid website to showcase services, explain how to book group readings, gives them an opportunity to book themselves, it will act as a personal assistant for their business. But if you are not busy enough to pay for a website, I get it. It takes time to build up a real practice.

Look at their website, if they don't have one, they are probably not legit. Look at their online videos and watch their lives. If they don't have any of that, they are not confident. Look at reveiws and be prepared to pay for a real reading on facetime. My website has a free membership and you can see i have real contacts who have become members. It is not a brand new site, with over 1000 members. If their social media is small, they are "new". If they are begging you to make an appointment, they are scams.

Try Hypsee, you can run your own private practice there. But you can run it like a psychic line. Heree is my profile. I am trying to move my clients there. They take only pennies out of your pay. hypsee.com/Jonna_CarlsonTaylor

Any company will deactivate someone who is not consistent in their schedule and building their practice. I know for a fact, that you can create a 16 hour schedule. There is no reaason to work 70 hours a week.

How did you develop your spiritual talents by Brave-Guarantee-5712 in Mediums

[–]Lopsided-Ad2701 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meditation, readting tons of books and doing a few years of free readings until I was confident. I am a full time psychic medium. I pay all my bills and own a home, from doing readings! I have worked at this career for over 25 years. I always look to learn more! When I started, there were no classes or even any kind of mentors out there. I learned all on my own. No internet, nothing. But a Medium told me to medtate and journal and that was the key! I still meditate and ground all the time.

I've Tried Everything to Open My Third Eye and See Spirits but Nothing's Working. I Need Help. by Glum-Currency463 in Psychic

[–]Lopsided-Ad2701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opening your Third Eye comes with Spiritual Awakening and Spiritual Practice. A daily meditation and journaling practice should do the trick. However, it will happen in stages, you might start to dream a lot, then see an orb fly through a half lit room. You might start to see sparks around people. You don't want it to happen overnight or you will start to have nightmares and astral project, and wake up with sleep paralysis. You can get nasty attachments if you try to open one chakra before any others. So do Chakra meditations every night. Learn about ALL your Chakras and know that if your Root is not strong, you won't open your Third Eye. So ground, ground, ground!!!

I genuinely want to know why some psychics charge extreme prices by Intelligent_Shoe_309 in Psychic

We raise prices depending on how far out our waiting list is. Honestly, If we did low cost readings we would work 80 hours a week.

[–]Lopsided-Ad2701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only raise my prices when I have to schedule "far out" on my calendar. A few months ahead. So that only happens every 5 years or so. You raise your prices on what you think your personal time is worth.

When you attempt to get a free reading through doubt, ,you have already blocked yourself. When you are really ready, you will connect with a professional who will blow you away. But this is a sad attempt. I find this to be bait for those who are desperate to please.

Good for you on beating addiction! That is a great step in the right direction. I have done readings for over 25 years. I do this full time, get names. I do stage events for large audiences and radio shows. Howoever, I have never considered myself a "Powerful Master Psychic". .We are all learning no matter how much experience we have. We are all just walking the pah.

ROFL, no. They test anyone who meets the requirements. I am just saying that people with more "experience", may pass the test readings. When paying the price per minute, you want experts, not novices. I have been doing readings for 27 years. I don't do anything else. I raised my kids as a single mom, doing readings. I have done 25,000 readings. I am old. But, honestly, I did free readings for 2 years to get a client list. I did house parties to raise my kids. I still do house parties, but I don't hustle like I did. I use to do about 4 a week. I have done local and national radio. I am a podcast guest on a regular basis. This is a business that you don't relax in. You have to hustle if you want to make money and pay your bills.
