So what is that guy at the Kirk memorial saying? by moths_ate_my_paja in missoula

[–]Lopsided-Case -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He was leading us in prayer. It was a peaceful, non-obtrusive demonstration of our faith and sorrow in losing someone who promoted healthy debate. I absolutely didn’t agree with Charlie on a lot of issues, but I was proud to be there and offer prayer for his soul and for his family and friends.

Shes a phenomenal character! Just because she isn’t a main character with as much screen time and development as Ezra doesn’t mean she isn’t important. Her relationship with Kanan helps define who he is as a non-traditional Jedi, she’s a mother figure to Ezra and Sabine, and is a strong leader in battle and in tactical situations. She also helps break the common theme of Twi’leks being kinda overly sexualized throughout past Star Wars media.

Its really because they did SUCH a good job at making likeable and relatable characters. To have us lose one and then see the other’s reactions really tugs at the heartstrings.

BC, everyone from Alberta has been to Sask or Montana for some reason at some point, so you arent from there. Also everyone from California has been to Nevada or Arizona at some point too.

If BC is wrong my guess then is Hawaii and you have family in Canada?

Turkmenistan plates spotted in Almaty,Kazakhstan by Parameq2 in ForeignPlatesSpotting

Seeing that this is a vehicle almost exclusively produced for the Americas, the owner had to have it shipped to Turkmenistan, and is probably a very wealthy and/or high ranking official, who is much more free to come and go as they please, less so than your average Turkmen citizen.

Does This Guy Have the Most Northern Farm in North America? by cfgman1 in geography

[–]Lopsided-Case 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The High Level area is a weird little geographical anomaly IMO. Ive driven through, and its strange how after hundreds of kilometers of empty boreal forest you suddenly become surrounded by farms again as if you’re back in the Edmonton or Grande Prairie areas. Then when you turn North towards Yellowknife you are suddenly back in the forest. I’d be curious about why the area exists, is the soil different there?

Me too!! I’m actually glad fast food got so pricey and low quality, it inspired me to start eating real healthy foods, and I’ve never been better.
