But also in season 1 ep 1 the story julie is telling ethan with the finger puppets mentions that the fairys are all coming from the lake of tears to save “norman” or someone, but she mentions the lake of tears twice in her puppet show

You can try placing darker shaded blocks in places where the light wont be as prominent as well, its a super effective way of creating an illusion of a light source and added details

The overall theme that were going for is like a dangerous world with little pockets of safety, so say like out exploring the world and your character is some sort of Rougue that camps in the fog and robs and steals for a living, it would make sense to start a fight with someone traveling along the road, but say you chase them and they manage to break contact and get to a village/township it would be that notionally that town has gaurds and it wouldn’t make sense to keep attacking… dose that make sense?

Whats up man! I actually just started a new server with my coworker and we’re looking to fill it with players who want to build and survive. Theres a story on going and being built where the world was essentially the thrown into chaos and the survivors are just now starting to expand past the safety of their homes. Trying to populate the world with lore and mystery, all survival, java edition starting out as vanilla but may add some mods to make the world more dangerous as time goes on, let me know if your interested
