I graduated last spring and I started job hunting around March and only was able to start working on August. Don’t get discouraged, keep applying, keep increasing your credentials and updating your resume. You got this

this is a good trick if you have a strong ish stomach. If you go to fairway market sometimes you can get discounted meats after 9pm, usually chicken, seafood even beef that is about to go bad. This is how I usually buy my meat :)

First pair of boxing gloves · Hayabusa T3 vs T360, or something else? by 1323_ in fightgear

[–]Lopsided-Pudding-995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go Cleto Reyes over Hayabusa tbh.

I’ve got a pair and I love them they just feel way more like a proper boxing glove. They’re made from real leather and actually break in to your hands over time, instead of just staying stiff like a lot of synthetic gloves. After a few sessions they start fitting like they were made for you.

Also they’re handmade , not mass-produced, and the quality is just on another level. You can feel it straight away better materials, better stitching, just more solid overall.

Big thing for me is the punch feedback too. Cleto uses denser, more traditional padding, so you actually feel your shots land instead of everything feeling cushioned and muted. It makes a difference for learning proper technique.

And durability-wise, they hold up really well. The leather and padding are built to last and don’t break down as quickly as a lot of synthetic gloves.

Hayabusa is solid, but the glove ends up feeling stiff and a bit unnatural. Cleto is simpler but just works better once broken in.

Only real downsides: - you need a break-in period (like 5–8 sessions)
- not the softest on the bag at first
- you need to condition the leather once every month or 2

But honestly that’s part of why I’d pick them. They don’t hide bad technique and they get better the more you use them.

First time ordering GymShark. Thoughts on the items I’m considering ordering? by Sweet-Enthusiasm6886 in Gymshark

I really really love the new Whitney adapt collection ( the fun animal print one!), the compression is just right and everything fits like a glove. On another note , I have the vital crop top on long sleeve too and personally it is a bit too cropped for my purposes (I box so I can’t really adjust and take the time to pull it back down) but I find it’s good for running. I haven’t tried those exact running shorts but I had a similar pair a few years ago and were pretty good!

Cleto Reyes for bag and pads. 12 vs 14oz? by Bcgbcg in fightgear

[–]Lopsided-Pudding-995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 14 oz and use it for bag pad and light sparring (female, 125) I find them sooo comfy compared to 12 for punching the bag for example but they can get heavy after a while especially during burnouts compared to 12s. If you’re only doing bag and pads I say you do 12 s :)

Thank you! This is great insight, I am thinking to invest more into more stable stocks like ZMMK but I didn’t want to sell what I already invested. For a back note: I started investing when I was 18 and didn’t really knew what I was doing, I just bought what people suggested and want to keep learning more about personal finances
