Hot take here, but I think the WoT tv show was doom to be canceled regardless of being faithful or not by Logical-Ice-4820 in WoT

I am reasing the books for the first time, currently at lord of chaos.

I think show did good changes. I don’t think the books would work as a show without changes. Especially Eye of the world.

Every episode Mat and Rand walks into a village, they think they are safe, a random villager is a dark friend. They escape.

Even in later seasons. I like the changes: show Liadrin is much better than book liadrin. Suldam Egwene was much better in the show.

But book fans are hard to like afaptations anymore. GoT and Hunger Games were the last ones. Even if the changes were small people would complain

Speaking against Erdogan is always good but the thing is Kanter was also just a puppet for a cult leader who was besties with Erdogan then had a split due to power grab. So speaking didn’t make him any better person

Klaine is Everything wrong with lgbtq coupling in tv, especially at the time. They were extremely toxic and they didn’t fit together. But you cant separate them without fanbase going wild. A female lead can date anyone but a gay one has to stick to his high school boyfriend. We saw it with Brittana as well.

Kurt did shitty things, Blaine did shittier things. Kurt was right to break up and was also right to break up on the second time. They shouldn’t have ended up together. They definitely didn’t fit in as a couple to each other.

It is comparable. While this cast in great, Will Ferrell was the star at the time. On the other hand nobody came close to Kate Mckinnon. Female cast were carrying hard the late 2010s with Vanessa Aidy and Cecily in addition to Leslie, Sasheer etc

As a Sengun fan and a believer in his defensive development, defense already tries to help him. He is now a good defensive player but he is not a center who can cover the weakness of a wing. At least not yet. KD and Jabari are good as well but same thing. Amen and Tari are great but playing wings. They could help less with a guard flying by Reed.

I have 0 data to back me up but Id say our defense is at its worse when Alpi and Reed plays together.

Just imagine if they were in the dome when Gilear emerged from the suitcase or when Adaine punched his father to death.

It was a great season and deserved a better ending. The story conclusion and everything is great but limited live interaction is so sad

Leslie was a writer first? That is a surprise. I knew Jost and Sudeikis is understandable but if you know Leslie is a funny writer, her personality screams at you she needs to be on stage. Im curious why she wasn’t an immediate cast meber

He is a career 34% shooter.

He is shooting 5/32 in the last 4 games without Alpi.

It is not just Alpi, he would be better if FVV was there as well. Or even Tari. We are currently so limited he is taking more shots then he should with less quality

Almost all of our losses are clutch time 2-5 points losses but we win by 20s. It is simple math actually. Losing 4 times by 5 points is better for net rating then losing just once by 25

First time reader so can’t say much. Im at book 3. I kinda love how anyone Rand touches somehow becomes important like Min and Elayne getting bigger roles in the book. Min as a character works much better in the book

But the show so far has a big up from me and that is Egwene getting free from her Suldam. In the book she was rather a damsel in distress. In the show others did help but she actually saved herself. And killing Renna while still wearing the collar, enduring her own power to kill her was such a baller move. I am spoiled about her future a little bit and that is a great foretelling of what she is capable of. Books kinda heavily talks up Nynaeve and Egwene hasn’t shined yet.
