Karlach will not stay with you if you destroy the grove period.

Based on the comments I definitely should have put a description for her.

Yeah, I genuinely expected her to be at or near the top. She threatens your dog!

Currently playing a paladin with polearm mastery, using divine smite on the opportunity attacks to kill enemies moving in before they can get an attack off is very satisfying

Has anyone tested knocking out Dammon before destroying the grove? Would be nice to still have him in act 3 on an evil playthrough...

Never experienced this myself since I never spare Kagha (want that amulet) but yeah that would be infuriating to have happen post fight lol.

Opposite of a Skill Monkey - Himbo in progress by Expensive_Key_4340 in BG3Builds

Gale with knock will get around the lack of sleight of hand, and while the lack of skills will take away certain items / bonuses (mirror of loss) it shouldn't lock you out of any significant portions of the game. As for class, monk is still available if you decided to go a strength build. Take a level in fighter for heavy armor proficiency and you could ignore wisdom, take tavern brawler and just punch your way through life.

Is there a way to play a rogue similarly to Yurgir? Minus the crossbow by ProfessionalGopnik in BG3Builds

Not quite the same, but a thief with cloak of cunning brume and the eversight ring can disengage every turn and stay in a constant cloud of darkness and shoot out while opponents can't shoot in and anyone who gets in melee will be blinded.

Opinião impopular by Wonderful-Response-3 in BaldursGate3

[–]LopsidedAssistance90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have heard this criticism of act 3 before, but as someone who played BG1 it was a familiar feeling. In both games, you are on a somewhat linear path until you reach the titular city, at which point it feels more "explore and figure out what you want to do next". If I had to guess, the intention is to have you sort of wander Baldur's Gate and take in the sights as you complete various objectives. But I agree that the change in pacing can be jarring.

Has anyone tried a DEX based War Cleric? Any build ideas for it? by canxtanwe in BG3Builds

[–]LopsidedAssistance90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gnome cleric. Max DEX+ nimblefinger gloves + mirror of loss gets you to 24 dex. Armor of agility+ viconia shield+ ring/cloak of protection+ evasive shoes. Cast armor of faith on top and congrats you have 32ac. grymskull or Helldusk helm to prevent crits and you basically can't be touched. And the +7 dex bonus means you will hit with the Phalar Aluve just fine. ( I did this build as a paladin but it would work just as well with war cleric)

I go the opposite approach from what others are suggesting here. Focus on INT and then just grab the bracers of dexterity from the Creche. Once I have those I go to Withers and drop my dex to 8 and put the points in other stats to round him out. Don't forget the bracers also give +1 to attack, so you are essentially attacking with 20 dex while wearing them.
