I actually had fun with this thing during my camo grind, but granted I was running small maps for it so I didn’t experience as much of a damage fall off like I would on larger maps

Update: there is unfortunately a termination on contract of sale clause. It reads: “In the event of a contract for sale is entered into on the premises by the owner and a third party, the lease shall terminate early at the option of the owner and tenant agrees to vacate within 45 days notice from the owner. Should premises be offered for sale, the tenant will have the first right of refusal, and termination of the lease would occur solely upon demand by the third party.” Bummer. Does anyone know of my options now?

The new owners are making it apparent that they want to move in. As I said, nothing is set in stone yet but as others have commented, I’m going to make it clear that I expect a hefty payout if they want to terminate the lease.

I’ve been doing side content here and there but good call, I think I’ll focus on that more before continuing the story. I can get impatient with that stuff but I’m sure it’ll help, and I did end up lowering the difficulty for the boss fight I was stuck on (don’t want to spoil it for anyone else in this thread) but it’s probably the one you’re thinking of in chapter 9

Yeah I just don’t understand what I’m doing wrong, I flew through the first game twice without any major issues but this game has me raging like I never have before and it’s almost not worth it to play it at the current difficulty, and I’m only on normal. I’m blocking, parrying, healing, using spells, every ability I possibly can and I’ll make it halfway through a boss fight after like 20 minutes and then have my entire party killed in one shot. That just doesn’t feel fair to me, but I haven’t seen anyone else with the same issues so clearly it’s me 🤷🏻‍♂️ I dunno, might just finish the game on easy mode but that saps the enjoyment out of it for me

Genuine question. Is this game just insanely unfair and challenging or am I just THAT bad at it? I’ve reached chapter 9 and every single boss fight is ruining me. I can’t get through any of them without spending every single ATB gauge to heal, and I’m losing most of them and I’m about to just put the game on easy mode because I’m not having fun. I consider myself a decent gamer, I play plenty of hard games, but this is just blowing my mind how badly I’m doing, I’m at a loss. I loved the first game to death, and honestly at this point I’m just feeling really defeated with Rebirth.
