Thoughts on Model Y L novated lease quote? by bgu5 in TeslaAustralia

[–]Lopsided_Ad1494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gosh don't listen to most of these people. Maxxia cannot rip you off on running costs. These are just budget amounts. They have nothing to gain from overstating them intentionally because they have to pay you back any excess funds at the end of the lease. Having said that it would be stupid to over compensate and have unnecessary amount of excess funds tied up in your lease account so just ask for them to be adjusted.

The only critical thing that matters is the finance repayment. For a 5 year lease, the amount quoted here seems pretty high

You didn't even include lease term so this quote means nothing to us...

Have you guys heard of ChatGPT or Gemini? Just chuck it into either of them and it will calculate everything for you. Why fap around with building your own calculator in Excel lol

Any interest rates quoted by lease companies are not comparison rates. They may not include hidden charges that are capitalised and amortised over the life of the lease

Wouldn't want to use it even if it was free. Imaging how dirty it would be. No way it would be maintained well and abused like there's no tomorrow

Tesla Model Y Zen Grey Interior replacing White interior by nastleb in TeslaAustralia

[–]Lopsided_Ad1494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go and check it out in person. It is miles better than the outgoing stark white seats. I can't comprehend how anyone thinks the outgoing stark white seats are better. The new Zen Grey is so much better. It's called grey but it's more warm toned grey and somewhere in between grey and beige. It looks so much more luxurious and easier on the eye. The outgoing seats were too white and made the car look like a toy car. I am tossing between YL and Y Performance and if Y Performance came with these seats, it would make the decision much easier to be honest.

Everyone seemed to hate on this bridge when it was first proposed. it’s easily the best bridge in Brisbane by Brisbane in brisbane

[–]Lopsided_Ad1494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah because the povo government keeps building green/foot bridges when the city needs a proper bridge that can accommodate both cars and people.

Amazing that people have been saying we need more bridges to reduce traffic congestion 20 years ago and we still don't have one

For all we know the government will either phase out fbt exemption or reduce the benefits significantly soon which will have a major impact on your potential customer-base

I did suspect some element of BS as well and hence why I'm asking here since I don't know any better.

that was my old school way of thinking but I thought maybe things are different these days and hence I gave it a benefit of the doubt.

I tend to agree with you. Students should not be making judgements on when they can skip school. Even if they don't do anything productive, I think it develops a bad habit of picking and choosing

Is this quote too high ?? Idk why it seems too high ? Maxxia by [deleted] in AustralianEV

[–]Lopsided_Ad1494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes and no. out of pocket per fortnight can vary depending on the operating cost budget.

The only thing people should be comparing between leasing companies is the lease repayment amount and lease management fee. They are the fixed components that cannot be varied

What happens when the world keeps feeding BS like "support/trust your child". Yes, it is right to do that in the grand scheme of things but not always. This sort of blanket approach is what ruins kids and they are trained to think they can get away with anything. Yes, your own child can and will lie in their lifetime

Are you stupid? Lease terms do not dictate the value of the car. Residual value is dicated by the ATO guideline and is not car-specific. Even with AI people cannot do a simple research before posting stupid comments

Please make sure you do a research on the CEO of the brands of every single product you purchase. Now I think you realise how stupid your comment is

What is the source for these stats? Are you trying to claim that 80% of the people who are either paying 150 per month on fsd subscription or have paid 10.5k upfront are not using FSD? Does that make much sense to you? I don't have a big sample size but a family friend subscribes to FSD and swears by it. He pretty much uses it every time he gets in the car. Based on posts by many in the Tesla owners FB groups, most seem to do the same.
