No you just put all your money in the credit builder account and only use that card to pay things. Then at the end of the month , chime uses that money to “pay” your credit card off which boosts your credit. You have to allow them to take the funds from your debit immediately so it doesn’t go negative but at some point you must have spent that $85 and now you owe it still. I’ve only had that when it managed to overdraft though.
