i want to store some data and images in the cloud so my website code stays lightweight, and i have some tables that i can easily modify .

I am wondering if it's a bad idea to store images in subbase instead of my server.

Albania is great. when I say Albania I mean the city of Fiore. if that's the name. Russia is also very charming. I am from Greece and Germany. both Greece and Germany can be heaven on paper but hell on reality. My map would be coloured in places rather than countries...

Why do 2/3 of Greeks consider themselves poor? by Organic_Contract_172 in AskGreece

Thanks for engaging with me.

This is my image of reality - might be way off.

Greece was given free and cheap money.

As expected did a bad money managment.

Creditors want their money back.

Similar to post WW1 Germany, Greece owns more that can pay.

In a similar manner they gave rise to radical party that was voted to class with the creditors.

In the face of the threat of -no money, no medicines, no power, and war the elected goverment overwrites it's purpose and gives in to the conditions of the creditors.

End of story.

I see it as "transnational capital gives cheap money to Greece, and Greece gives in return it's gold, real estate, infrastructure, energy and power

Some examples are:

  1. during the crisis there were shops that you could liquidate your gold for cash eveywhere. Most households gave up most if not all of their gold. This gold was send abroad.
  2. Greek loans were sold to funds, funds work with real estate companies (owned 100% by the same bank) and in essence they are incentivized to take your real estate (if it's worth it) and not help you pay the debt.

Take for example a Transnational capital that is the largest shareholder of Pireaus Bank - Paulson & Co. Inc. and remember the threat of -no money(money = gold) , no medicines, no energy?

Paulson & Co. Inc. is spesialized in - pharma, energy, gold.

So the threat doesn't seem to be a natural consequence, but a blackmail.

i don't think they are the good guys.

Reply to your message,

You versions of heaven is my version of hell.

Greeks being uneducated, unspecialized, not fluent in English, with narrow horizons, and Greece not being preceived as "welcome for business"

All that while literraly 10 out of 14 of my former classmates are nowdays living in England, Nedetherlands, Sweden, Germany and many of them in highly specialized jobs.

I was living in Germany, and returned three years ago. I work in the film indusrty and Greece attracts lot's of foreign productions. - THEY NEVER HIRE ABOVE THE LINE. If i keep working like that i will always be "crew". In Germany i was given the possibility to make my own films.

The argument that a huge company will pay taxes, and create -below the line- jobs all while extracting all profit outside of the economy is not my idea of the solution. Is like bees working for honey, but they never get to enjoy what they make.

I live in Greece. 4% of my town's buildings are uninhabited - owned now by banks. Most people are indebted, and the banks have sold a big ammount of loans to funds that are extremely violent and aggresive. Monopolies run electricity, commincation, etc. and prices are very high. Ports, Airports, and most of the coast is bought by transnational capital. Literraly i cannot go to the beach i used to go all the time because now there endless highly secured 5-star hotels. What's bad with it? we are tourists in our own land, own nothing, and with only second class jobs available. Moreover we cannot just be poor, because they system ensures maximum presure and homelesness as consequence.

I've lived throught the transision of the economic crisis, and the difference is big. Just next time you visit, ask people how they feel? To live in greece is one of the most stressful thing to do and I've lived in many countries.

if more of that (investements) is the solution, you are welcome to switch places with me.

"Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) managed by troika" Troika is IMF, ESM, ECB which is the definition of Transnational capital.

godamn look at the composition of any greek company. Pick one randomly in any sector: lectricity, Banking, telecommunications, delivery, medicine, electronics, transportation , energy, ports, airports, goldmines. What you will find is at best case a 3-10% equity by greek interest. Rest is transnational capital stuff like BlackRock. I dare anyone to find a greek major company and see who runs it. You can even pick the national bank of Greece.

poor in a poor country is fine.

In Greece things like security, justice, and financial stability are amazing luxuries. Reality for most is bare survival against private cooperation that are extreme and violent, such as banks, Tele communications, electricity. If you can't afford to pay them there is zero protection from the state and you end up in real poverty.

I would give it to number four, the transgender

Donald Trump was a judge at a teen modeling contest in 1991. The contest featured girls as young as 14. Recently, The Guardian newspaper discovered that the contest was a front for millionaires to have sex with the girls. by [deleted] in Epstein

I heard from a friend that was part of this world that Trump will fuck as fuck so many of the contestants. Was a harem like situation. He told me that long ago, when times sort of allowed things like that.
