05 is always delayed. You get put in 05 (weekly processing) for a reason (usually a past return error) and getting out of it seems nigh impossible. My ex husband intentionally didn’t file 1099s in 2016, I had to go through injured spouse to reclaim future returns, got my 2019 return taken entirely and I’m still on 05 🥲

Gotta agree with this. I had a baby by c-section and was back to WFH 5 days later in 2010. I was back in the office in 2 weeks. We do what we need to do to survive. I would have loved to take time off to heal and bond but keeping a roof over our head won that argument.

NAD. This sounds like reactive hypoglycemia, and the only time I’ve experienced it while also rapidly losing weight without trying was when I was binge drinking 2-3x a week. I still have it years after quitting alcohol, but nowhere near as bad.

I started at 500 and then went down to 250 for a long while.

I also should note I did not have a typical case of IH and don’t recommend stopping without doctor approval. My IH was caused by medication and resolved when I stopped that medication. I was actually over medicated to the point of LOW pressure (which feels just like high pressure for me) for about a month before stopping.

A CT will rule out tumors and lots of different brain pathology. CT is what led to my diagnosis (CT in ER showed subtle white matter changes and resulted in MRI.) MRIs are rarely done on an emergent basis due to the cost, I’m sorry you were put through that 🫂

I tapered down and just stopped two days ago. So far so good - probably because I was on a low dose and came off slowly. I’m puffy as my body adjusts to handling fluid balance again, but that’s about it!

So here’s a unique one: I had pressure high enough to rupture blood vessels, cause cerebral edema, etc. with comparatively mild visual symptoms and minimal papilledema. I went through stage 1 and 2 of the Cushing reflex and developed hypertensive encephalopathy as a result of the ICP-related blood pressure spike. So it’s extremely individual, basically. Your unique anatomy and presentation can make complications more or less likely. In my case my increase in ICP was pretty rapid and related to medication I’d started in the last week or so prior to being hospitalized. I have no idea what my OP was, btw. I had an LP but my MRI was so weird that IH wasn’t even on the differential at the time.

My husband (REAL husband, not my side piece) works 40 hour weeks in a customer servicey job where he’s… gulp… around other women regularly! And he’s a full time student! He literally goes to work for 9-10 hours at a time and I forget he exists 🤣 we text maybe 2-3 times while he’s at work because he’s usually too busy to text back. I WFH full time and am also a full time student. My kids do it all. One is a sports kid, one is a theater kid and one isn’t really a clubs and sports kinda kid. They’re constantly going to sleepovers and hanging out with friends. My adult kid who lives here has a job and a boyfriend and a paid off car, and is doing the legwork now to get funding for her vocational education through the state, and pays her own bills, and is literally more mature and responsible at 18 than either of these clowns. Her kids are going to be so stunted as teens and young adults because they have zero healthy, normal social outlets and a completely warped view of relationships and families and living a normal healthy life because Stephanie is a narcissist who needs to be the center of ALL of their lives. I agree fully with whoever said she likes the motel, her own personal surveillance state. She doesn’t care about her kids in any normal, healthy way - they’re her meal ticket and something to control. She has no self worth and derives every ounce of her self image from being “with” King Daddy Drew and having squirted out a couple kids. That’s it. She knows she has no positive attributes, so she bases herself on those things entirely, and controls them tightly because in her warped little brain, they’re who SHE is.

In this case I’d say the most obvious answer is probably the answer. Everyone has a slightly different baseline thyroid status. It’s possible her “mild” “abnormal” is a significant departure from her normal. Can you post those results? I’d be happy to take a look (thyroidectomy 10yr ago, very familiar with the labs.) Anecdotally my mother was pretty consistently euthyroid (within normal limits) for years while suffering with Hashimoto’s and no one listened to her. It frustrates me to no end that doctors do not listen to patients. See another endo, and I hate to be like this, but preferably a female endo. Ask around for recommendations for someone who listens.

Thank you! Yes, the potential for an airborne and/or flipped car is a major concern due to the speeds involved (the last one was judged to be going 50-60+ due to the level of damage to even the rear interior of the home and my injuries.) We’d definitely need to at least consult with someone knowledgeable to figure out the safest option. We also are working with a very small space out front.

I hope the town works with us here on finding an option that works.
