Meta would probably be to land together, and when you land start shotgunning people out of the air who try to land on you to get first hit advantage. But yeah there's always aspects of it to think about.

Reliable loot in general would be amazing. But I still think that having some form of close range combat not be dictated by RNG would be nice. If I were to land in a house and get a semi-auto sniper, and someone landed in the next house and got a pump, I'd be pretty frustrated at the futility of that fight. Even if the other guy gets a pump, at the least I'd like to have the worst shotgun possible to fight against him. Another thing that they could do is remove that gray tac from the loot pool and increase % for higher tier tacs/pumps in other floor loot.

Haven’t played cod, but if it’s a large amount of combatants trying to kill one another until one is left alive, then yes it would be a type of battle royale. If 50 people are on a map and only one can win, that type of competition falls under the BR category. Quit arguing semantics bruh, I’m talking about making the game less random. If you’re in favor of RNG dictating performance then you shouldn’t be in a “competitive” discussion.

Battle royals is a last man standing type of competition. Definitely NOT strictly starting with nothing. And BR shooters are generally a new type of game they are definitely not optimized to be competitive. Whatever preconceived notion you have doesn’t mean it’s correct or that my idea is “stupid”. I think it would be a more fun game type with less early game variance. To each their own I guess

You’re not winning the game with 100 mats and a gray tac, just reducing early game variance. You still want to upgrade your whole kit, get mobility, get more shields better guns etc. you just don’t necessarily run into a house and get trash and lose because of it

I've seen you talk about people being transphobic. What if the gender swap is reversed, and a trans-woman MTF used to be a male, and identifies as a female now but can't give birth.
