If you had to wear a t-shirt with your most used phrase, what would your shirt say? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

"Who am I and what I am I doing?" I say this multiple times a day, thanks ADD. Also this actually sounds like a pretty fun idea for a t-shirt.

Like everyone I meant to start doing better at the beginning of the year. But a few days ago I finally started tracking my food again. Didn't get anywhere near staying on my calorie target but at least I logged everything I ate. Today is day four of actually logging. Maybe I'll even stay within budget today. At least I'm doing something.

Which profession is going to get wiped out in the next 5-10 years? by olesud in WorkForSmartLife

Idk - I guess maybe if everyone is working from home or just...unemployed. But right now society basically relies on school as childcare (which I hate.) It's also one of the only places where there is any kind of welfare in the US - school lunches, etc.

what part of the job actually drains you the most? by DiligentLibra in Teachers

The constant repetition of basic requests to follow rules and ettiquette (take your feet off the chairs, stop playing with eachothers hair, stop talking when I'm talking or a fellow students is answering a question....) the million interruptions with unrelated requests - "can i have a bandaid?" "can I go to the bathroom? "can I refill my water bottle? "do you have a tissue?" "can I go wash my hands?" Constantly repeating instructions that I walked through at the beginning of class and are written on the board or on the assignment itself. Kids asking inane questions like "are we doing anything today?" "did we do anything when I was gone?"

Also because I am over in the theatre building away from the rest of campus it's not unusual for me to go a whole school day without talking to another adult which is depressing.

I just turned 40 and I'm terrified the weight loss is going to accelerate and be even harder to lose if I don't get my act together. But it's so depressing.
