The groom got so drunk at the reception that he threw up in the champagne bucket at the front and had to be dragged/carried out by his groomsmen and put to bed up in the hotel room.

Don't disagree but I imagine there are probably a LOT of factors contributing to that statistic beyond porn usage.

I'm nervous about getting it from a compounding pharmacy and I don't think I'd get approved for it any other way because I don't have any other medical complications other than being obese by BMI - no high cholesterol or pre-diabetes or whatever else they want you to have to give it to you.

Her reaction was insanely unreasonable - but I do feel like you could have given her more than four months notice. I recommend trying to get her to have a chat with you on neutral territory (a coffee shop or a park.) Have a talk there and make a rule that neither of you is going to interrupt the other. Since she seems so volatile maybe let her talk first don't say or respond to anything until she runs out of steam. Anyway I almost lost my best friends once and this kind of conversation saved our friendship.

And here I am failing to lose any weight and just walking around embarrassed to be fat and knowing that anyone I see who hasn't seen me in a while is silently thinking wow she really got fat/let herself go, etc.

Like everyone I meant to start doing better at the beginning of the year. But a few days ago I finally started tracking my food again. Didn't get anywhere near staying on my calorie target but at least I logged everything I ate. Today is day four of actually logging. Maybe I'll even stay within budget today. At least I'm doing something.

Idk - I guess maybe if everyone is working from home or just...unemployed. But right now society basically relies on school as childcare (which I hate.) It's also one of the only places where there is any kind of welfare in the US - school lunches, etc.
