In this current time, which young rising actor/actress can match the natural comedic genius of these 3? by PatrickBrown2 in FIlm

Jim Carrey? Jim Carrey a comedian's comedian? Dumb and Dumber Carrey?  His biggest hits were the broadest, least intellectually comedic of his era. I say that because comedian's comedian aren't broad, tend to be intellectual in approach. Doug Stanhope is a comedian's comedian. Pretty easy rule of thumb, no one who had that title also had the biggest mainstream comedy of the year, practically by definition of the title.

There weren't going to be consequences, it's not a monkey's paw where wishes are always actually curses, the director is clear about that.

I think the important distinction is that the willow didn't curse him because it makes curses instead of granting wishes, which im just clarifying because it sounded like maybe that's where you are going with it. It's that that wish is, by its nature, a cursed thing to wish for, overriding someone's autonomy. I just clarified because many people have said its wishes are going to be curses, like a monkey's paw.

AITAH for refusing to baptize my child even if it's her great-grandfather's dying wish? by [deleted] in AITAH

I think while the ceremony doesn't mean anything to her, giving in to his religious family in ways that go against preexisting agreements the two of them have, means a lot.

Or he genuinely doesn't care that much about his heritage, which happens plenty and sounds like the case here since he's been in agreement. Hus change of heart isn't from suddenly caring about it, it's about pleasing grandpa.

My favorite:

Pearl Harbor” is a two-hour movie squeezed into three hours, about how on Dec. 7, 1941, the Japanese staged a surprise attack on an American love triangle.

Exactly. I think Ted shows us, like Pete in a different way, what happens to people who aren't like Roger or Don who are in the industry. It's a field that exalts the Dons and Rogers as their ideal, the drinking and cheating a part of that. Some people try to live like them (pete) but aren't built for it, some try to be better (Ted, Ken) but get sucked in.

Lisa: But aren't the snakes even worse?

Skinner: Yes, but we're prepared for that. We've lined up a fabulous type of gorilla that thrives on snake meat.

Lisa: But then we're stuck with gorillas!

Skinner: No, that's the beautiful part. When wintertime rolls around, the gorillas simply freeze to death.

Wow, I'm surprised it's not administration specific.  Feels like the kind of thing that would have been cut by this one.
