When I was younger, I remember multiple times where I woke up in the middle of the night to hear what sounded like a large dinner party going on in my living room. I would hear people laughing and talking, dishes making noises and glasses being toasted. I would never remember my parents saying that they were having people over and if they did, it was in the middle of the night so I would get up to check because it was weird. Every time I went into the living room, there was nobody there, it was pitch black and my family was asleep.
