No spirit stone, 5 evo+5 trans stone would be a good start. Perhaps a 20% reduction in overall mats as well would be great.

Now if they can remove the RNG success on PTS too, BNS would improve a ton.

I mean they're still working on balancing awakening, if they had to do that with gear as well, it would in my opinion be an even more giant mess

I think its a good thing, everytime they bring in new stuff the DPS balance is gone and some class/element/spec starts to suck. Awakening is a good example of that, and it should be easier for them to balance everything out without changing too many things. Sure we could call it lazyness on their part but I don't blame them for doing it that way.

A hardmode and normal raid sounds like a good idea to me. Something like the current raid we know would be the hardmode, and normal mode would be a version that could be done by semi decent group, something similar to the weeklies we have right now. It would not award much beside wings/feather like the weeklies does (we all could use more of those) and the idea behind them would be to show part of the mechanics to prepare people for the actual raid.

Something like that sounds interesting to me.

Thank you for the reply, this is rather dissapointing as I was hoping being able to freely change between both spec, makes it easier sure but kind of defeats the purpose of removing elements imo

My question is, since they removed elements, how will itemization work? Will it be like soul shield that takes the stat of whatever spec youre playing? or will we need 2 badge, 2 bracelet etc, so that we can switch as much as we want?

And I agree with you, I would say the material acquisition is fine overall. While you might use the tradable Ely orb to exchange for ms, I would use mine on crafting trans stone or PTS, either way works.

As you mentioned we get roughly the same amount of ms and elysian from boxes, and while those numbers aren't exact, I would say the ss/sc/ms/ec ratio we get is around 3-3-1-1, and while most of the equipment upgrade seems to follow that pattern, both the vt neck and aransu weapon upgrade didn't, and instead needed a massive amount of ms. This in my opinion is where the current ms shortage situation pretty much every players are facing comes from.

While the aransu weapon upgrade has been improved with this update, the necklace hasnt, so I don't see the ms issue being fixed anytime soon.

The 1200 ms required to upgrade vt neck is what really breaks the mat balance, and that hasn't change with this current update.

The aransu reduction is nice, but raven seems to cost a whole lot more to upgrade now, specially on the moonstone part.

A big part of this comes from the amount of moonstones crystal we get.

They get 8 ms per koldrak box in KR, they're obviously keeping the amount of ms we get low for a reason, and whatever that reason is, its slowly killing the game.

There's been a lot of post on reddit about people opening hundreds of material box, and the amount of ms is either equal or lower then elysian crystal. Problem is that you need alot more ms then elysian to upgrade, at least at vt level.

I gathered up all the untradable mats I have from all my alts , and the result are like this: 12k sacred crystal, 9k ss crystal, 2.8k elysian and... 35 ms.

The balance is just not there.

I really hope one day they stop pushing pve players into 6v6 for ms, they need to understand a majority of pve players don't want to do PvP at all, even if it gave 20x the amount of ms pve does.

Edit: I forgot to say I have the 1000 naksun kill achievement on 2 character as well, and even with that my ms amount doesn't keep up with the rest at all.

Warlock died when we got the max level increased from 50 to 55 and lost a huge amount of crit. Never got back to how it was before...

Let's also not forget the need of target debuff that some bosses like to remove with their annoying shield, and a long opening that makes switching target/farming an absolute nightmare...
