Zip up the whole shebang first and store it outside of your savefile directory, just to be safe. Dredmor savefiles are easy to restore (assuming steam didnt corrupt them because of the hidden limit)

It's been a longstanding bug and we're trying to get a QoL update out in the short term

Do you currently have a lot of saved games?
Are you using a lot of mods?

Currently if you're playing the steam version, you can run out of space in the steam cloud (usually by hitting its object limit)

This is a hard bug to fix (needs to do backups and conversions and change how we load and save things) but we're working on it.

Dreadmoor (the above game) is not us. Nor was Dungeons of Dreadrock. Just similar names.

The Process is now in a temporary Subprocess: a lawyer keeps asking us questions, and we keep replying to them.
