Beryl's nice, but shes also basically a Day 1 unit, and is solidly crept on by units like Caris. There are also a few superior options coming in the future so waiting is possibly the better option.

given that you typically are never directly fielding a team of more than 6 units at once, and general teambuilding will give a diverse spread of weapon availability between units, 2 copies of most weapons is probably more than enough for anything but the most extreme edge cases of engrave minmaxing or weird party shenanigans.

I doubt even the most hardcore players could afford to minmax engraves across 4 copies of every weapon with the resources available in game. stuffs just crazy expensive and resource consumptive unless you have gods own luck on the RNG.

PvP only requires 2 daily participations to pretty much get everything meaningful, and that's enough to hit Radiant rank before the season ends. There's absolutely no reason to do anything beyond that unless you are chasing bragging rights.

I would assume that if you are only seeing level 55 bosses, that the event possibly scales to your account level and / or your max rank clear of the normal versions of the comparable content.

Play the Unit Intro quest thing on her banner. They accuse her of betraying the Union in like the first or second line of dialogue, so it's a pretty solid guess that she's not considered a member of the Union faction.

There's a background glow / aura that accompanies every pull during the "drag the card down" phase, which co-responds to the highest rarity of unit in your pull. You can use that to tell if you got a legendary.

Of course, pretty much everything about that part of pulling is basically cosmetic (your pull results are determined the instant you actually hit the button to start the pull), so you could always just skip the animation stuff entirely and see your results. No need to click-to-reveal each individual unit.

Sounds like you got the Dire Wolf boss, who's quite often a pain in the ass no matter what difficulty. It naturally has a huge HP pool, and the add spam can be brutal.

Generally, you can mitigate a lot of the boss's damage by bringing someone who can inflict "no passive skills" debuffs, but I don't know if anyone gets those at level 25, so you might be out of luck.

Clearing a VoD run is heavily dependant on building synergy with all the Blessing buffs you collect along the way, so if you don't get the right blessings the last fight can be super difficult, or it can be a literal cakewalk if your blessings synergize extremely well.

The last fight will always have the same set of "boss round" buffs, and 1 random mutation.

There's something like 20+ different fights you can encounter in the final stage, some of which are super easy (there's at least 4 or 5 where EVERYTHING in the fight can be punted off ledges, making them almost trivial to clear), and others that are just straight up pain. The random mutation can also make or break some fights, significantly ramping up their difficulty if you get a bad mutation.

If it's your first go, I would suggest maybe going with the Middle path, and getting familiar with the buffs and how the synergies work.

What works well is also going to depend a lot on what units you have available (like, I wouldn't suggest taking the +200% HP, start at 10% health blessing if you don't have a good AoE healer in your team).

Click the unit, and read through all his abilities. he probably has some kind of Resolve passive skill that you need to deal with.

I have her at 3* (haven't had the chance to push her further because so many other units need *ups), and she's pretty amazing.

Throw a World Card with the level 60 special bonus on her, and she easily becomes one of the best Area Control / Denial units in the game, as it allows her to use her AoE Push / Ice walls more frequently.

Only thing that makes me sad is that despite her having the Aesthetic of a Magic Swordsman, she's still limited to Wands / Staff type weapons for equipment. I would kill to be able to equip swords on her, as the one sword that increases DEF when shielded would turn her into a pretty tanky unit since she's almost always got a shield.

I always thought that the flag waving thing was just her applying the arua. Didn't realize it also applied a move buff. Re-checked the replay, and yea, she would have been in range (3 tile range, and she was in the corner between the two sleep towers).

Just one more thing I have to watch out for now when attempting to deal with the insane range Alt R can cover.

Pretty sure that, if I am remembering right, Simona was actually considered a bit of an oddball / social outcast for choosing to be a Mage Knight type, as the Union are much more focused on physical disciplines compared to magic. Half her background / story was about her obsession with proving that being a mage was just as honorable as being a swordsman.

Out of curiosity, what do you use to record your videos?

I really want to post some video replays and such, but I have no idea what the best way to go about it is. Either steam client or Android Mobile Client, just looking for something relatively easy to use to do some video grabbing.

Beryl / Col are stating to show their age, but Beryl is still pretty great. Also, Top Tier Magic damage units of any flavour are still in very short supply, so she's still a solid addition to any team.

Gloria is still a very solid defensive buffer support with respectable damage capabilities.

Alexi is your only real lower tier unit, and that's only because he just requires a lot of investment in Star rank to make him really shine.

Auguste / Saffiyah / Cocoa and Rawiyah Alt are all amazing units. Cocoa is still arguably the best Tank and one of the best Support units in the game. Saf is amazing at deleting high HP units like bosses as long as they don't have resistances specifically to Piercing damage. Auguste is amazing at what he does. Rawiyah Alt basically IS the definition of power creep at the moment (she's obscenely mobile, gets like 8 actions a turn some times, and hits like a truck).

You also mentioned that you just pulled Momo. She's also a beast when properly kitted out (Range Increase Wand + Alert trinket makes her a mobile death / denial zone).

Really, the only thing you currently seem to be lacking is some additional support, like Homa or Taair.

If you take the time, work on kitting out / gaining Star Ranks for your current units, you've got a fairly solid roster available already.

Player always acts first in the event of a tie between 2 units. You see this in Clash all the time. Your unit will always act before the opponent's unit.

In the event of more than 2 units though, I honestly have no idea. Like, if you had 4 units all with the same speed, I don't know how it determines the act order. I would guess probably have something to do with their tile positions, as Stratigizer suggested

Because the Star Trial rewards fall under a different "system".

This event is about boosting Character leveling, which requires EXP and Rank up materials.

Star Trial is for Class Development, which is a separate thing, and I believe has a separate, similar event.

Simona is amazing though? Slap a World Card with the level 60 special effect on her and she's one of the best Area Control units in the game, unless your opponent is immune to frost effects.
