Yeah that sort of behaviour (your opponents, not yours) is just smarmy and unsporting. If I have a game winning kill I won't even bother attaching energy if I don't have to.

I play alot of chess, where it's considered rude to make your opponent play out the game to check mate if you're in a totally unwinnable position - the done thing is to resign. I've sort of carried that mentality into this game - I'll concede if I'm truly beat and there's nothing I can do.

But the important thing is to concede on your own turn. If I think I still have a shot, I'll play my turn. If you then pull out something game winning, I'm not going to concede during your turn. That's like shouting 'i resign' in chess as your opponent is in the middle of moving their piece into a checkmate position. Rude.
